Using our interlocking panels makes it easy to do large projects. Our panels can be cut with any carpentry tool and installs with a simple gluing, screwing and caulking process.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Apply Glue to back of panel. (optional for interior applications - not shown) 2. Screw Panels into wall using appropriate fasteners. 3. Push interlocking keys together. 4. Make sure panels are pushed together tight. 5. Offset following rows by half a panel to keep from having a visible seam line. 6. Caulk the seams with textured caulk.

URESTONE SCREW WATERPROOFING OSB / PLYWOOD After the OSB sheathing and moisture barrier (Tyvek or similar house wrap) is applied ensure the transition point is flashed. Simply apply Urestone panels beginning at the grade and installing vertical. Simply trim excess, to allow for the ledge stone. Apply with screws and as an option: use texture caulking and paint touch up kit to apply finishing touches.

URESTONE CORNER CAULK CORNER CAULK JOINT Note: Apply the corner section to the substrate (OSB, moisture barrier) using screws and simply butt the panels against the corner section as tightly as possible and adhere with screws. CAULK JOINT Note: Using the Urestone panels, simply cut a miter and then use glue the miter cuts together to desired angle. Adhere the panels with screws to the substrate. Use the color matching caulk to finish the miter for a more finished appearance.

Apply flashing normally to the substrate then trim the ledger to fit the widow and adhere with screws. Continue the run of panels trimming for proper alignment.

Looking down on the ledge stone notice how the ledge stone is notched out to slide into the sill for proper fit. After the ledge is positioned in place, adhere with screws and then continue the horizontal run of the panels trimming if needed for proper fit. Ensure that the panels fit very tightly against the ledge stone. Adhere the panels with screws and use the texture caulking and touch up paint kit if needed for the finished look.

URESTONE products are manufactured utilizing a Dual Layer Composite system comprised of a high impact resistant layer followed by a medium density polyurethane foam. Q. Is this product durable? A. Yes, URESTONE is manufactured utilizing the dual layered technology that results in a hard solid surface that is durable and damage resistant even from a weed-eater or other types of normal landscaping tools. Q. Is this product moisture resistant? A. Yes, Polyurethane is a closed cell product and will not allow moisture to penetrate the panel even after the panel is cut for a perfect fit. Q. Can I install this product myself? A. Yes, anyone can handle these light weight panels. Utilizing standard carpenter tools just a few easy to use tools such as: a cordless drill (screwdriver), a circular saw (skill saw) with a wood blade (fine tooth is suggested), a caulking gun, and safety glasses. Yes, the US Building Council has determined that our processes are producing a green product. Q. Are these panels fire rated? A. Unlike competitive synthetic stone system, the dual layer technology provides good impact resistance to the surface and the panels resistant to damage by weed trimmers. Also the coloring system is designed for long term appearance. Urestone is perfect for wainscot, accent walls, or even entire home coverage. And with the R value of R4-5, your home will be insulated even better! Q. Is it necessary to use the caulk? A. No its not necessary but it is recommended especially for exterior application. The joint seams, and the screw heads will totally disappear by using the caulking. Plus if you trim the panel to fit, it is makes a nice termination into the trim. Caulking will provide the authentic look of stone work and seals the seams from water intrusion. Q. Can Urestone Panels be used for interior projects and applications? A.
