OR Title: Long training course Duration: Four-six months training programme, Training Fee: `10000/month Scheduled time of start: Throughout the year The candidate undergoing 4-6 months training shall be assigned short term research project in the areas of plant tissue culture like, development of tissue culture protocols for economically important plant, anther culture for speedy development of Doubled Haploids and DNA marker technology for diversity analysis, gene mapping, markers assisted pyramids of genes for biotic and abiotic stresses etc.

Note: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. The duration of training module shall be 1-6 months and the candidate has to specify clearly the training duration in which he/she will be joining. Imparting of the aforesaid training is not a regular feature. Candidates will be selected on basis of first-cum-first-serve basis and the maximum number of trainees to be accommodated at a time will in no case exceed twenty. Training will be imparted during March to June every year subject to the availability of space in the Lab and time with the In-charge of this Lab. For undertaking training, the students should apply in the prescribed format(Annexure I) through their respective Principal/Dean/Registrar to the Registrar, CSKHPKV,Palampur176062 H.P. well in time who will forward the same to the concerned Head of the Department for further action. All subsequent correspondences to be made with the concerned Head of the Department. The trainee shall be required to pay the entire training fee at the start of the training. For preparing report of the training it is the whole responsibility of the candidates and only the guidance will be provided. No additional computer facility and printing facility will be provided by the department. The Department reserves the right to decline /discontinue the training on account of unreasonable conduct of a trainee
