Overview: Approximately 100-200 Nonprofit/CBO Professionals, Humanics Alumni, and University Students will participate in The R.E.A.L. ExperienceA Regional Professional Development Conference presented by the Humanics Program at Fresno State. In addition to Nonprofit/CBO Professionals and university students studying nonprofit/community benefit administration, this conference is open to nonprofit board members, volunteers, and AmeriCorps members with a commitment to service. This conference provides a capstone experience in nonprofit management and leadership education and aims to be Relational, Experiential, Applicable, and Learner-centered. Local and national leaders will present issues pertinent to professional leadership and engage participants through workshops and case studies. The hands-on, interactive format of the conference will expose the current and next generation of Nonprofit/CBO leaders to issues facing organizations and communities and various approaches to those challenges. The Humanics Program at California State University, Fresno offers undergraduate and graduate curriculum and a national certificate through Nonprofit Leadership Alliance.
