Now keep in mind I probably don't know what I am talking about either because I am not a millionaire. I am also not a get rich quick guru. However, I am a living, breathing human being who has made my fair share of mistakes, just as I am sure you have. My purpose is to help you overcome your own challenges by helping you asking better questions. In other words help and encourage you to seek the truth. I also want to inspire you to take action on your own good ideas and break free of the things that are keeping you from being who you really are. To demonstrate here are some common answers to the lack of money question. Keep in mind they are common and with that said they probably don't work well at all.

1. Get a second job (Short term only if you can, this will not work long term,
lots of money then claim bankruptcy. You would have more rights than a consumer.)
and the universities know it especially the on-line ones. You barrow more to not pay now, this is sick!)
4. Work out an arrangement with your creditors (Simple answer here. All
they want is their money. So how are you gonna pay them more of what you don't have.)
5. Win the lottery (So how is this working for you so far? Same as it has for

6. Wait for the rapture (I understand this but I think the logic is
order for this to work it requires a complete surrender. This is not a quick answer but it is a solid one providing you are willing. God can do some amazing things in your life if you let him.)
The real jest about these common answers happens to be that they are common. What I am trying to convey is that you cant think commonly about how to answer your money questions. Logic would tell you that if you use common solutions to solve your problems then you will most likely derive at common results.

Now dont get me wrong I listed number 7 only because it is used as an excuse more than a practice. It is, however, not common in practice. On the contrary I have a couple of friends who are largely successful financially, and neither of them thinks about money from a common perspective. For the most they recognize how living their life has everything to do with their finances. Their responsibilities to living a well balanced life are at the top of their priority list. From mental to physical, spiritual, and financial they place importance on balancing their life.

Success In Progress
Take care of business while you are on your way to wealth. In reality if you are horrible about managing your money now, then you will be horrible at it when you have more. Honestly, there is no need to beat your self up on this. All you need is to learn how to stop spending more than you make. What about all the bills? School loans, medical, etc..? Advise: If you are so buried in financial debt that you'll never see the light of day then get down on your knees, drop everything your doing and pray for God to come in to every area of your life, to guide all your actions and to restore your mind body, soul and spirit from the brokenness and damage in your life. When you pray, believe in your heart that you are already being restored by God's love for you. Now that you have prayed tell someone you know and respect about what you are believing in God for.

In my personal opinion everyone has to get over their unique set of money circumstances. Money isn't what you think it is. When you hoard it, it consumes you. When you release it, it rewards you. When you use it right it offers value. When you blow it, it is gone. Most people simply say they need more money. True, their right, but not for the reason you might think. Some simple areas to figure out are; 1. What are you wasting money on? ( You already know what this is
because it serves no purpose but you are willing to keep doing it because you fill it is who you are. Keyword to remember: Habits)
13

3. Where could I make a significant difference in managing my money better? (What are you going to do to improve your perspective? You
better say education is the first thing your going to do. Really this means you need to read, learn, and practice disciplines that will help you. You won't see results overnight but you will find your new habits toward money will start to leverage in your favor over time.)
4. Have I given God the glory and worshiped Him with my tithe? (All
money everywhere is all God's money. He not only owns the 10% you offer but the 90% you keep for yourself. In the snap of a finger he could take it all away from you no matter how much you give or don't)

The question is: Why? If you can find the reason why within your heart to follow your dream you can build your road map to achieving it. If you really understand what this means you will see why it is so important and your top priority. Open it up like this;
How does your dream serve the needs of others? How does your dream improve the lives of others? Can you commit your life's work, prayers, sweat, and tears to it?
The value of answering these questions goes far beyond the riches to be earned. If you do nothing else you must attempt to answer these questions for your own personal clarity.

So the real quest here is to lead you to find your purpose in life and it is an absolute must if you want to succeed. It sounds silly yet it is the most important thing you could do. Building a dream road map requires a life purpose to consciously guide you in the right direction for its achievement. When others recognize your worth while purpose they are urged to join the journey with you. This is a key to success because it often takes everything you don't have to achieve it. Managing the synergy of those who are then captivated by this purpose, and who are willing to embrace it with you is your leading how-to question. Here is the absolute truth on this subject; We all have failed at this and we will continue to fail until we learn how to be the human beings that God intended us to be.

The reason why we fail is because we want to claim ownership to the God given purpose that He has laid upon our heart. We also feel that it is totally up to us to accomplish it. In contrast, our creator has provided us our purpose and all the means for its attainment. Therefore we would be ignorant not to understand our purpose is all about what we can do for others under God's design. If this is true, and it is, then seeking the makers plan for our life would be in our better interest. Your heart knows this to be true or you would have already stopped reading. The question is: How do I know that my dream is of God's design?
18
RussHess.com
And the answer is: You will never know unless you start the journey. Let me explain. Imagine a rudder of a boat that is set in motion. The path is determined by the one who is steering it. Most of us either want to put the boat in motion or steer but it is Gods plan for us to put the boat in motion and steer. Our selfish desires make us believe we can find the answers without being set in motion or steering. In contrast, our journey is the single most important factor to our success. True joy follows where we have steered in God's will while anguish follows where we have strayed out of God's Will. So, both joy and anguish serve to guide us in our journey. In summary God's design is for us to begin the journey and steer the best coarse we know all the while reaching out and seeking His blessings.

Favoring Success
A few years ago I was doing odd jobs to support my family. After loosing my job and having narrow employment opportunities I resorted to mowing lawns, gardening, and doing handy man work. Initially, I had a few hand tools, a truck, and the willingness to do whatever work I could find to put food on the table and keep a roof over our heads. At the time I was down to my last twenty dollars and I decided to advertise in a weekly newspaper. The ad cost about nine dollars and the rest of the money I used to put gas in my truck and a small gas container for my mower. A few days later I received a phone call from a man needing to have his lawn mowed. I went to see him at his house to look over his lawn and give him an estimate of what I would charge for mowing it. Before I got out of the truck to knocked on his door I stopped to thank the Lord for my first

customer. I also prayed that the Lord would help me to do my very best at the job I was about to do and to offer a fair price for the work. After talking with man and walking through the yard the man asked me what I would charge. It was a small lawn so I told him fifteen dollars. Great, can you mow it now and every week through the summer?, he said. Yes, sir, I said with enthusiasm. While I was mowing his lawn I continued to pray to the Lord that if this was the only job I received then I was thankful and I would do everything to serve him and honor him in it. I must have been talking to God on a megaphone because he definitely heard my prayers.

After I was done the man came out of his house to pay me. Good job Russ, I like your work. What would you charge to help me seal my driveway and do some odd jobs around the house?, he said. I told him told him fifteen dollars a hour and if your not completely satisfied with my work then I would be happy to settle at a fair price. I think I shocked him because I took the bargaining process completely out of the conversation. The fact of the matter was that I was prepared to do it for free and to work in good favor. From this one customer I received many new customers by word of mouth. For three years I stayed busy building this business and I never had to advertise again.

When I would get low on funds I would ask God for more work and call up my customers and ask them if there was anything I could do for them or if they knew anyone who needed to have some work done. My customers really seemed more like friends than customers because I really got to know them well. Every job was an opportunity for me to minister in good service to others.

The combination for success is: Taking a step forward in faith,(the advertisement). Being thankful in advance of receiving the opportunity, (the prayer
before the knock).
Sustaining a willingness to honor God in good service and thankfulness, (humbleness to work in good favor). Asking for help when you need it, (asking God for more work and calling
customers to ask them for more work or opportunities).

Another strain of thought is why do we have to think that they are in competition with one another? Find ways to compliment building your future while you are at work. If your a writer why not offer to do some documentation of processes, every company lacks documentation. The trick is to act in service, to some degree, by applying your desire for obtaining your dream with some daily activity at work that could help you obtain it or remain focused upon it. The job by itself will never help you build your future unless its a part of your future or it compliments your future.

I would start my day off with a prayer that I would find work. I asked for opportunities where I could earn money for purchasing groceries or to pay for the costly prescriptions that my wife needed. I am not exactly sure how we made it through those times but I know it was a daily walk in faith. One of the key things I remember doing was asking my customers if they had projects they needed done or if they knew anyone that had a need for a helping hand. I will admit sometimes I was lucky with this approach and would land a sizable project. However, the bottom line is: The answer is always no, if you dont ask. The biggest part of selling is asking for the sale so ask, ask, and ask. Then when you think you have asked everyone you know then ask again.

Next, once you have established your streams of cash protect it by minimizing your expenses. A vital part of minimizing your expenses is to lower your tax liability. Knowing and using tax laws can help realize an adjustment of your taxable income. Typically this means operating your business as a corporation. However, do your home work on this one because it could actually cost you more if it is not set up properly or managed well. Finally, the best investment to help continue and extend your net worth has always been real estate. The optimal way to produce wealth from real estate is to buy below market value and sell at market value or better.

Homework is key in real estate because knowledge of how to extract the best margins is vital. This is not for the unexperienced investor yet with the right mentoring you could secure some very handsome returns on investment.
Personally, I am in stage one where I am still working on my income channel. I think the key here is to keep an open mind on how to bring extra cash to you financial plate. My thought has always been that if you keep looking for the answers and keep asking the questions your going to find what your looking for. However, be aware there are a lot of scams out there that can be very distracting.

Ok, so most of what I listen to is free content. Free podcast, free audios, free videos, youtube, etc. With this I guess I am getting what I pay for. However, why do I need to buy everyones brand of content? Well I have thought about this for a while and the only logical conclusion I can come up with is that it would make me feel better perhaps.
32
RussHess.com
Bottom line is I dont think I would be any better off with the paid content than with the free content if all I was going to do is to listen to it and say, That was good. In other words its relatively worthless unless I have a plan of action toward becoming rich. To me it comes down to this. Ive got a boat load of debt that over weighs my income. Like many of us its too easy to arrive in this condition, especially if you have a family. Now I am left with trying to pay my debt and sustain some kind of reasonable living. What this really means is that I am going to have to use all my talents and abilities and develop a few I didnt know I had to make a change in my life and in the way I live before my debt all but consumes me.
33
RussHess.com
Action on a good plan is what I am seeking. I have learned that detail is key to an action plan and discipline accompanied with action is my key to leveraging toward higher levels of income to reduce my debt. I have also noticed that people who do become rich do so because they believe they can. On a special note, none of us were ever intended to be purposefully in debt except for one and that debt was paid years ago.

Some people are born in to wealth and others have become wealthy by no actions of their own. However, the wealth you and I seek is only through our progression of a good plan. A plan that will keep you focused and determined to sustain through and overcome all the hard knocks you and I will encounter along the way. Question: Where do I start? Answer: Where your heart is. What you dream of doing that would fulfill your true sense of purpose. The answer is unique to each individual. Your plan will be different then that of your neighbors. However, the formula is the same. This is, putting your heart first toward a good purpose that will build you the wealth that you seek while satisfying your inner need of acceptance.

Next, understand the historic lessons of our forefathers. Knowledge is key to understanding. As well, understanding is only recognized through the comparison of the past as it is applied to the future. Yes, this is a bold statement. However, consider the following statement. If you learn all you can learn at the expense of never using it then you have a totally worthless proposition. Understand who you are. Look at your past to determine the one thing you have seen threaded through your entire life. In this, I would almost guarantee it is your true passion and purpose and a great place to start. What is in your heart?
37

In reality, if youre going to take massive charge and instigate wealth building in your life you must prepare yourself every day to let go of the no control thoughts that you cant change. If you dont then they will, in fact, change you and close your mind to the opportunities that are waiting to be discovered by you.
38
RussHess.com
For the most part it is all about sustaining your belief in yourself and a can do attitude even when it doesn't seem like your making any progress. Some authors suggest a Fake it till you make it approach. More so you need to overcome your hesitation that will lead you in to not taking action and thus keep you from ever applying yourself to your goals and aspirations. The reality is you are going to have to change into the person you want to become and that takes action. So the saying should read Fake out your mind into believing in yourself until you are patterned to always making it. In other words, you need to train yourself to believe in your self that what your applying your self to do is not only possible but has already been done.
39
RussHess.com
Forget why you can't do it and get on with how you can. This is probably the hardest thing to do because human beings by nature are lazy and love to be comfortable even in their misery. By nature we would rather do nothing to help ourselves than to do anything to change. My honest advice is for you to break your patterns of thinking by focusing on how you conquered change in your life before. For example, how you learned to ride a bike, swim, read, and yes become wealthy. So in case you haven't figured it out by now the way to get where you want to go is by educating yourself on how it can be done. Ideally, renewing your mind will precede every change you actual make in your life.

Put your plan in to action and correct it along the way. Remember: You must put your boat into motion and steer.

My Mission
Remember earlier in this e-book I wrote that most people just say they need more money. They are right! However, if all you long for is to make more money to solve all your problems then all you will have is problems that money can't solve. Your problems are first solved by reaching out of your comfort zone and changing the way you think. In essence, renewing your mind. The hard truth is that we have all let clear thinking and creative thinking much less thinking for our selves take a back seat in our lives. I hate to break it to you but if your not seeking the help of advisors in your life you are leading yourself to your own ruin.

How do I renew my mind? ...Well you find someone who has done what you are wanting to do and you learn everything you possibly can while taking as much action as you possibly can toward your goal and gaining as much control over life as is needed to make a huge difference in your personal life. So don't take my word for it. Go out and test what I am telling you. Then offer the truth back to the world by sharing your story.
