Organizational Behavior I can learn a lot of things from this chapter and the movie.

vie. I thought that teacher Rainer wanted to make students better. He wanted to teach students something about dictatorship. Mr. Wenger said Discipline is power, unity is power, and action is power. And the members of the wave conformed to this attitude. They wore white shirts, made the same gesture, called the teacher as Mr. Wenger, were allowed to speak by Mr. Wenger. But he didnt think that he wouldnt control students to do wrong things. They wanted to spread the wave and they began to graffiti to everywhere. Karo wanted to stop the wave. But it still too late and tragedy was happened. If teacher Rainer could think would happened what are the consequences of the wave.Maybe the tragedy wouldnt happen. From this chapter, I can learn how to build an organization and five properties of group, roles, norms,status, size, cohesiveness. When someone wanted to build a group and the good core concepts and powerful leadership can attract a lot of members. When the group have a lot of members and the leadership need to control and manage members of the group. If someone did something wrong and the leadership need to correct and make the member batter. The core concept of dictatorship maybe suit for some uncontrolled members. Bur the appropriate choice of not to give a comprehensive ,perhaps it will also have a lot of positive forces.

From this report and this movie , I learned many things. At the first , teacher Rainer just wanted to confirm that the fascism will happen again. But he didnt think that the situation will out of control. From the report which I discussed with my team member, I learned more things. Just like the Aschs studies, this studies tell us that we will follow the prior persons answer, even we all know

that answer is wrong. Maybe in our real life we all run into this situation. From this studies, I thought that we should have more confidence with ourselves and believe that one you choose is true.

After see the movie, I realize a group has a great influence on our life. Take Wave for example, after each members identify the group, they will do what they can do for the group no matter it is right or wrong. But I think we should respect for different opinions when other persons have different viewpoints to our group or group behavior. A group life is good but we cant make the group become to too extreme. When we prepare the presentation, I discover there are many theories can be found in our life. And these theories can be used easily in our life. So, I think the OB subject has a closely related to our real life.

I had learned a lot through this report and the moviethe wave. At first, we watched the movie, the wave, and the story in the movie was really worth for us to think about. Not only the tragedy in the end impressed us, but also the behaviors of the group members did. And the content we presented is five important group properties, and theyre pretty related to the movie and our real lives. To maintain a group well is difficult and complex, and I think cohesiveness is the most important property to make a good group stronger. A company is a good example for groups. Well have the chance to work in a company, and now we have learned can let us know much about the behaviors of group members and the group performances. Beside the lesson and the movie, though I didnt do the presentation, I still learned a lot from the lesson and the process of doing the PowerPoint, and it was a great experience for me.
