1. Introduction
This User Guide for the Condor EDP Loadsheet will easily guide you through the basic functions of the program. There is no integrated online help in the program except for this guide, but latest instructions are provided under Admin in the basic input mask. The easiest way for mask inputs is to use a mouse or the tabulator keys. Please note that any input becomes effective after leaving the input field by clicking on other fields or moving with the tab key. If facing any problems while using this program, please do not hesitate to inform us with detailed information of the problem. The contacts are listed in appendix C. For installation and update procedures please refer to appendix A. and B.

2. Starting the program

From start menu: Start > programs > Thomas Cook WAB > EDP Loadsheet Program or if you have the link on your desktop simply click this icon

First the program will ask for your name. Input is required as the name will be printed on the loadsheet. Next the following question will occur:

If you want to continue working on a former prepared flight press Enter or click on the Nobutton. If you want to start on a new flight, click on the Yes-button. If you decide to continue with a flight (No-button) you get a list of stored flights.

Page 3 Condor Flugdienst GmbH FRAHG/G

The list of stored flightnumbers:

Select your flight by simply clicking on it If you click the Cancel button the program will continue with a new flight. Each flight will remain on your disk for three days, after this time it will be deleted automatically.

3. Basic Input Mask

The basic input mask contains all basic data of the loadsheet. An example picture is shown on the next page, containing information, description and important hints. Check the database revision code of the program. If it does not correspondent with the valid revision code published by FRA HG/G please update (see appendix D.)

Fields for flight number, date, origin and three possible destinations. The date field is filled with the actual date when starting the program, you can change the date manually if required. The programs database revision code. Dropdown fields for the selection of A/C-type, registration and versions. Click on the button to receive a selection for your loadsheet. Please note: Once the seating version is selected, a change of the A/C-type is no longer possible. The dropdown field for the selection of the Ops-group. The corresponding DOW/DOI data and the standard crew figures appear automatically after the selection of the group. For changing the crew figures click into one of the crew fields, if you have changed the standard crew the DOW/DOI will be corrected automatically

Page 5 Condor Flugdienst GmbH FRAHG/G

6.

The area for possible DOW/DOI corrections. The first correction is the water pre-selection. The dropdown window offers a selection from 0% to 100%. Please note: At this time water pre-selection is only possible for A320 and B767. The next possibility is to select one of the standard DOW/DOI corrections in the dropdown menu. i.e. APU removed. Select one and the item will be copied into the window; the DOW/DOI will be corrected automatically. Non-standard DOW/DOI corrections will be handled as follows: Click on the Non standard DOW/DOI-Corrections-button. Your inputs into the mask will be copied into the window and the DOW/DOI will be corrected as well.

4. Passenger and Baggage Mask

The Passenger mask requires the inputs for passengers and their baggage. To avoid Problems mainly use the Tab-key ore the mouse to get to the next input. Think about the hints in the introduction that any input will not become effective before you leave the input field. The picture below is the passenger and baggage mask for a single destination flight. If you have more destinations in your basic mask, the passenger and baggage mask will consist of more destination fields.

1. The destination will be entered from your basic mask automatically. Page 7 Condor Flugdienst GmbH FRAHG/G

2. The fields for entering passengers according to class (es) and origin (local/transit). 3. The fields for children and infants. If you enter any child figures, the number of adults will reduce accordingly. The lower parts are for transit figures if you work on a transit flight. 4. The baggage input is separated for local and transit as well. If you choose standard baggage weight, the system will calculate the weight automatically, if you select actual baggage weight, you will have to enter the weight in Kg into the -field. The colour of this field will change into white if actual weight is selected. At this time the baggage weights do not affect the underload calculation, this happens after the distribution of the load into the compartments. 5. The passenger distribution into the cabin sections. Once again two choices: select standard distribution and the system will distribute the passengers automatically. If you choose manual distribution you have to enter the passenger figures per section manually. During this process a mask will appear on your screen, showing you the number of passengers not yet distributed. If this figure turns red you have distributed too many passengers. The lower field of each compartment shows the maximum capacity. If you click on one of these fields the following mask will appear:

This new window allows the capacity reduction of this compartment. If the capacity of all compartments reaches the total number of passengers, the reduction will stop. If you want to continue you have to reduce the total number of passengers first. It is not possible to exceed the maximum capacity of the compartments. 6. The balance situation after passenger distribution. If the vertical bar is inside the green area the CG is within operational limits.

5. Mask for Cargo Distribution

The masks for deadload distribution depend on the type of aircraft. The first example describes the distribution for narrow-body aircrafts. Just click on the respective compartment area to receive the input mask.

1. The actual weights for each compartment after distribution 2. The actual weights for each load category in forward compartment. 3. The same for the aft compartment. 4. The figures for distributed deadload and the resulting underload for further load planning. 5. The baggage not distributed for your destination. The upper field shows the weight, the lower field the corresponding pieces. 6. The balance situation after load distribution.

Page 9 Condor Flugdienst GmbH FRAHG/G

5.1 Cargo Input Mask for Bulk loading

After clicking on the respective cargo compartment you will receive the following mask for load distribution.

1. The input fields for deadload into compartment 3. Please note that all weights are in Kg except for baggage if you used standard baggage weight. In this case you only have to distribute the number of pieces. If you used actual baggage weight you will find Kg instead of pieces and you will have to distribute the respective weight. The markerTB indicates transfer baggage for the loading instruction. The transit field is for the sum of your transit load (baggage+cargo+mail). 2. The area for special load remarks. There are three rows for each destination. The first column is for the code. You will receive an error-message if the code is unknown. The following columns are only available if the code in the first column requires more inputs. The sub code is only used if the remark allows additional information (i.e. CSU/EAT/230). 3. The text area is for load remarks in text (i.e. AVI/Dog), which will appear on the loading instruction. Page 10 Condor Flugdienst GmbH FRAHG/G

5.2 Cargo distribution for ULD Aircraft

Distribution of unit load devices evidently takes more time than bulk distribution. The deadload has to be distributed into containers or pallets. The following mask describes the handling for wide-body aircrafts.

Page 11 Condor Flugdienst GmbH FRAHG/G

1. Again the actual distributed weights for each compartment. 2. The buttons to select the ULD type for planning. It is possible to change the ULD-type at any time. 3. The presentation of the forward compartment. Positions underlayed in grey are already occupied. The positions underlayed in white are still available for load planning .If you change the ULD-type, the occupied positions remain on the screen and the still available positions for the selected type of ULD will appear. For entering ULD data just click on it to receive the ULD input mask. 4. The presentation of the aft cargo compartment. To move or exchange ULDs, press and hold the Shift-key and click on the respective ULD.

Confirm the question with ok and the ULD changes the colour to red (see 31L/R), continue with a click on the position you want to exchange with (empty or occupied). 5. The bulk cargo compartment. Inputs are handled the same way as for narrow-body aircrafts. 6. The figures for total distributed deadload and the resulting underload for further load planning 7. The baggage not distributed for your destination. The upper field shows the weight, the lower field the corresponding pieces. 8. The button to set all remaining positions to NIL for the loading instruction. If youve done so, the button changes to a reset-button to reset the NIL. 9. The balance scale.

Page 12 Condor Flugdienst GmbH FRAHG/G

5.3 ULD Input Mask

After the selection of the ULD type for the respective position, the ULD input mask will appear. This mask can be used to enter new data or change or delete old data for any ULD.

1. The loading position for the selected ULD. 2. The field to enter the ULD number. If you enter a know ULD type (i.e. DQF), the system adds the airline code (DE or LH) to that number. If the ULD is not in the database, you will have to confirm the use of a nonstandard ULD and add the airline code. In this case you will have to check the data and possible restrictions of this ULD manually. 3. Dropdown field for destination selection. If you work on a multi-destination flight, select the ULDs destination from this menu. 4. The load category for the ULD. If you choose B, X or U, the system will add the respective tare weight (6.), if it is a known ULD. If choosing C for cargo enter the total weight of the unit including tare weight. 5. The same fields for load input, add bag pieces or the weights in Kg. 6. The field for tare weight of the ULD .Enter the tare weight or change the standard figure (4.). 7. The fields for special load remarks (same as 5.1). Page 13 Condor Flugdienst GmbH FRAHG/G

5.4 Cargo Input Mask for Bulk-Compartment in ULD-Aircraft

The cargo input mask for bulk cargo compartment 5 and the BBC (B767) which are handled as bulk compartment.

1.

The input fields for deadload input into the BBC. As the BBCs are included in the DOW, there is no entry for the tare weight. The same fields for multi-destination flights. The fields for special load remarks (same as 5.1).

2. 3.

Page 14 Condor Flugdienst GmbH FRAHG/G
