The Reds are in first place for the sixth straight day
TONIGHT'S GAME: Is Game 3 (1-1) of a 3-game series vs Jim Trdinich's Pirates and Game 3 (1-1) of a 7-day,
6-game road trip that includes tomorrow's off-day in Houston and then a 3-game series at Minute Maid Park...the
Reds are coming off a 6-1 homestand vs the Braves (4-0) and Rockies (2-1) that featured their first 4-game sweep
of the Braves in Cincinnati since 4/9-4/13, 1980 at Riverfront Stadium...following this road trip the Redlegs return to
Great American Ball Park for a 10-day, 9-game homestand vs the Pirates (3g), Tigers (3g) and Indians (3g)...are
19g (12-7) into a stretch of 20 consecutive games without a day off.
STREAKING: The Reds have won 9 of their last 11g...for the third time have a season-high 1.5-game lead...Cin's

THE DRAFT: On Monday, Major League Baseball's first-year player draft will be broadcast live at 7:00 p.m. ET on
MLB Network and MLB.com...the pre-draft show begins at 6:00...the Reds are expected to make their first pick at
approximately 8:20...2012 Reds Hall of Fame inductee Sean Casey will be the club's representative...the Reds will
select 14th, 49th (as compensation for the loss of Type B free agent Ramon Hernandez to the Rockies), 57th (as
compensation for the loss of Type B free agent Francisco Cordero to the Blue Jays), 78th, 109th and 142nd...Reds

DRAFT NOTES: RHP Homer Bailey (2004 by Cin, 7th pick overall), OF Jay Bruce (2005 by Cin, 12th), RHP Mike
Leake (2009 by Cin, 8th), C Devin Mesoraco (2007 by Cin, 15th) and OF Drew Stubbs (2006 by Cin, 8th) are the only
players on the Reds' active roster selected in the first round of the draft...IF Todd Frazier was a supplemental first
round pick (2007 by Cin, 34th)...disabled LHP Bill Bray (2004 by Montreal, 13th) also was a first-rounder...12 players
who appeared for the Reds this season were drafted by the organization, including Bailey, Bruce, Leake, Mesoraco,

HOMER HAPPY: There were 29 home runs hit during the 7-game homestand completed Sunday (Reds 17, Braves 6,
Rockies 6), a new Great American Ball Park record for HR during a homestand of 7 games or fewer and including a
single-game record 9 homers in Sunday's finale (Col 5, Cin 4)...according to Elias Sports Bureau, the previous GABP
record for home runs during a homestand of 7g or fewer was 28 (7g from 8/20-8/26, 2007)...Elias said the record for
HR during a single homestand of any length at GABP is 40 (10g, 7/15-7/24, 2005).
COOPERSTOWN: Former Reds All-Star Barry Larkin and Cubs great Ron Santo will be inducted into the National

the modern player ballot presented by Cincyfavorites.com...the veterans committee selected Driessen and Reilly...the
trio will be honored June 22-24 during Reds Hall of Fame Induction Weekend.
