GeNerosity CHaNGes everything

For three decades at the national Christian Foundation (nCF), we have seen thousands of lives transformed by the power of generosity. From the community of generous givers we serve to the ministries we support to the recipients who are blessed, from those with meager resources to those who give much its apparent that generosity changes everything, every time. When our hearts are open to give, God uses whatever is in our hands to bless others no matter how insignificant it may seem. Just like the loaves and fishes, it may not seem to add up. But generosity always changes the equation. From obedience to abundance, we catch a glimpse of the infinite multiplication that is the very nature of the first and greatest Giver of all. and we are transformed more into his image every time we give. Join us as we share stories and celebrate how generosity really does change everything.

Visionary leaders + a burning desire for the lost = abundant life for the masses
While its estimated that the average american Christian has seven or more Bibles in their home, hundreds of millions of people around the world have yet to see one verse of scripture in their heart language. the good news is that there are new, exciting efforts to change this trend for the unreached. every tribe every nation, the international orality network, Finishing the task, table 71, and the issachar initiative are all growing networks focused on spreading the Gospel and facilitating unprecedented collaboration among ministries, churches, and givers. Bibleless people, unengaged people groups, and unreached people groups are terms that will soon no longer exist, as everyone will have the opportunity to hear the Good news. nCF is blessed to be a part of these efforts.

A wise gift + caring for college kids = a strong shepherd for students
When Willi and Peggy Maier made a tax-wise gift from their limited partnership investment, they never dreamed those shares could become the key to funding spiritual growth for hundreds of young students. With this gift, they will be able to recommend grants from their Giving Fund to keep a chaplain in place at one of their favorite colleges. the support is allowing the university to maintain a strong spiritual influence with students when other institutions in their community are not. now thats a deal with eternal dividends.

A violin + a young girls giving heart = new homes for orphans in Haiti
With her long hair and ear-to-ear grin, 15-year-old anna Lipscomb may seem like an average american teenager. But to a special group of orphans in haiti, she is a giving giant. armed with only a violin and a heart-wrenching desire to help the children she met on a mission trip there in 2008, anna recorded a benefit CD featuring the song, heart for haiti. so far, she has raised over $75,000 using her nCF From the heart Fund ... enough to build four orphanages!

43,000 passionate hearts + unspeakable injustice = $3.3 million raised in 4 days
in endless lines that snaked through the 2012 Passion Conference in downtown atlanta, students waited their turn to give money to organizations working to free modern-day slaves around the world. By Wednesday afternoon, their goal of $1 million had been surpassed, and the Freedom hand had been erected. the 103-foot monument was constructed using items typically made by forced labor, such as soccer balls, clothing, and toys. Giving to support justicerelated ministries is one of the important passions for nCF givers. With millions of men, women, and children forced to work or sold into sex trafficking against their will, its easy to see why.

A successful businessman + a love for Gods Word = one revolutionary Bible exhibit
What do the brightly colored aisles of americas largest arts and crafts store have to do with the rows of ancient displays in the worlds largest private collection of rare Biblical texts and artifacts? they are both propelled by the creative energy of steve Green, president of hobby Lobby, visionary of the interactive Passages exhibit, and longtime nCF giver. 1 chicken + sacrificial generosity + inspiring leadership = new church in war-torn Uganda
Most offerings dont run around on two legs. But when youre a severely disabled Ugandan woman (pictured left) who feels called to give, your resources might look a little different. a chicken, her only earthly possession, is exactly what this elderly farmer gave to help rebuild her devastated church in Bundibugyo, inspired by the leadership of her village pastor known as Bishop hannington. her gracious sacrifice is just one example in the incredibly inspiring story told in the Grace of Giving video, produced by Global Generosity Movement with support from nCFs Generosity Catalyst Fund, which supports projects that promote and inspire greater generosity.

a closer look at our ministrys growth
Who would have thought three decades ago that nCF would see over $3 billion granted to more than 30,000 churches and ministries? thanks to Gods abundant blessings and the unprecedented generosity of thousands of individuals and families, we saw this milestone come to pass in 2011, as well as many others illustrated on these pages. Clearly the momentum of the generosity movement is building, and nCF is privileged to join so many others on the journey. $9 million
