The Exodus Journey

Genesis 47:6, 27 The land of Egypt is before thee; in the best of the land make thy father and brethren to dwell; in the land of Goshen let them dwell: and if thou knowest any men of activity among them, then make them rulers over my cattle. And Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt, in the country of Goshen; and they had possessions therein, and grew, and multiplied exceedingly. Exodus 2:15, 3:1, 12 Moses dwelt in the land of Midian, he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb; ye shall serve God upon this mountain. Exodus 12:2-14, 29-42, Numbers 33:3-5 And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children. Exodus 13:15-22, Numbers 33:6-8 And they took their journey from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, in the edge of the wilderness. Deuteronomy 1:40 But as for you, turn you, and take your journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea. Exodus 14, Numbers 33:7-15 Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baalzephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea. Exodus 16:1-10, Numbers 11 And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt . Numbers 33:12-14 And they took their journey out of the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah. Numbers 33:13-14 And they departed from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush. And they removed from Alush, and encamped at Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink.

Exodus 17:1-7, 14-16, Deuteronomy 6:16, 9:22, 33:8 And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the LORD, saying, Is the LORD among us, or not? And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovahnissi: For he said, Because the LORD hath sworn that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation. (Isaiah 48:21, Psalm 36:7-9, 78:15-20, 105:41) Numbers 33:15 And they departed from Rephidim, and pitched in the wilderness of Sinai. Exodus 19 1 In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai. 2 For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the desert of Sinai , and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount. Exodus 18 And Jethro, Moses' father in law, came with his sons and his wife unto Moses into the wilderness, where he encamped at the mount of God: And Jethro, Moses' father in law, took a burnt offering and sacrifices for God: and Aaron came, and all the elders of Israel, to eat bread with Moses' father in law before God. And Moses let his father in law depart; and he went his way into his own land. Exodus 19 10 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes, 11 And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai. (Acts 7:38) 12 And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death: (1 Kings 19:7-9 days of Elijah) 13 There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount. 14 And Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes. 15 And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at your wives. 16 And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled. (Deuteronomy 4:11-12, Exodus 24:17) 17 And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount. (Galatians 4:25) 18 And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly. (Judges 5:5) Exodus 24 And he said unto Moses, Come up unto the LORD, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship ye afar off. And Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount. Leviticus 7:36-38 Which the LORD commanded Moses in mount Sinai, in the day that he commanded the children of Israel to offer their oblations unto the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai. (Exodus 25-31)
