Request for Proposal (RFP)

Project: Redesign The Urban League of Philadelphia website

The Urban League of Philadelphia The Urban League of Philadelphia is an affiliate of the 95-year old National Urban League. The organizations mission is to empower the African American community by advocating diversity and inclusion and providing programs to create financial independence. The Urban League of Philadelphia operates a Career Center to prepare and help under and unemployed people find jobs, an Entrepreneurship Center to support small businesses and a Housing Counseling program to help homeowners in danger of foreclosure and to help first-time homeowners purchase homes. Project Description Our current website, http://urbanleaguephila.org, no longer meets our organizational needs. We would like a more dynamic website that enables us to use video and showcase current projects and programs. The current site is very text-heavy, and we would like to move to a more visual style. We would also like to simplify the navigation and eliminate duplication. In the current site, for example, Career Center and Employment Opportunities both contain the same content. The site has three main goals: To promote our organization as a brand To publicize our programs To encourage donations and enhance our fundraising activities

Design Requirements PMS187 is the official Urban League red and should be incorporated with black into the design Photo gallery on the home page that is easy to update and change Video gallery on the site Links to our Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn Accounts Pages for our programs Housing Counseling, Career Center, Entrepreneurship Center Pages for our two affinity groups NExT (young professionals) and The Guild Donation page that links to netforgood.com and a place to highlight donors and/or sponsors A press section for news releases, news articles Blog for our CEO, Pat Coulter A content management system that is intuitive and simple to use
