Working Wonders For People With Special Needs Vincent started having mental health issues in his early teens but, in his family, those problems were not discussed and you didnt ask for help. While Vincent held down jobs in kitchens and stores, he lived in a household with a drug dealer. Fearing arrest, he fled to Toronto only to recognize that he had a problem with drugs, too. Vincent found help in Covenant Houses shelter, healthcare centre and Arts & Minds program. Covenant House has done more for me than I can ever say. Im getting my life back together. In Toronto alone, there are at least 1,500 homeless youth on any given night. On an annual basis, ShareLife agencies provide food, shelter, guidance, care and counseling to more than 10,000 young people in the Greater Toronto Area. Your ShareLife Gift Will Be Matched! A generous parishioner in the Archdiocese of Toronto will match all new and increased gifts to the 2012 ShareLife campaign, up to a total of $650,000. Help our parish to meet the ShareLife Community Challenge your contribution will help to achieve our parish campaign goal, and maximize the generosity of this parishioner. Please give generously. What could convince someone to turn to God? The story that God became human? The story that Jesus cured the sick? The story that Jesus forgave sin? The story that Jesus rose from the dead? Or, perhaps, the story of the witness of your own life! If you have the continuing inclination that God is calling you to be a priest, religious or deacon, call Fr. Hansoo 416-968-0997.
