June 3rd Baby Shower for Crisis Pregnancy Centres

This Weekend - June 3rd Please join your fellow parishioners in the Parish Hall for cake and coffee, and bring a small gift for one of the many mothers or babies that receive support from the various Crisis Pregnancy Centres in the GTA. Items most needed include: diapers of ALL sizes, wipes, baby soaps & lotions, towels and wash cloths, diaper shirts and sleepers, crib sheets, cotton bibs and hats, baby socks, formula, and toiletries for moms (i.e. soaps, deodorant, shampoo). New or gently used strollers, car seats and larger items are also needed and greatly appreciated. Proceeds will be divided between: Sisters of Life, Birthright Toronto, Aid to Women & Rosalie Hall. Celebrating 36 Years Of Working Wonders Now in its 36th year of helping the whole community, the number of agencies funded by ShareLifes annual appeal has increased significantly, reflecting the growing social needs of our community. Our agencies help more than 250,000 people in a number of program areas, including: children and youth, families at risk, women in need of shelter and abuse counselling, services for single and teen parents, the elderly and refugees and the education of clergy. Please help our agencies continue to work wonders in our community by supporting ShareLife, the annual fundraising appeal of our Archdiocese. Please give generously. You can work WONDERS!

2012-2013 Religious Education Program Register Now!

Registration for Religious Education classes is now being accepted. Children who are in grades 1 through 8 and attending non-Catholic schools, whose families are Registered Parish Members, are encouraged to register for the classes. Registration forms are available through the parish office. The program is largely volunteer-run, so parents are expected to help out in some way.

Sea Fever

Join with fellow parishioners, outdoors at Our Lady of Sorrows School for Sunday Mass, followed by a BBQ and games. Volunteers are needed: to help with set-up, to bring salads or fruit, to assist with serving food to assist with cleaning up afterwards. Mary Grove Camp Collection Next Weekend

The Mary Grove Camp collection will be held next weekend, June 9th / 10th. 1,100 girls from lessfortunate families will be attending camp this summer. Please place your donation for this charitable work of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, into the basket with your regular weekly offering.

The Most Holy Trinity

The Solemnity of the Holy Trinity invites us to remember that God has revealed himself to us as one God in three Persons. As Jesus departed from his disciples, he shared with them the power to make disciples of all nations. He taught his disciples to invite others to share in the life of the blessed Trinity by sharing with others the gift of Baptism. This continues to be the mission of the Church. Each of us who has been baptized shares in the life of the blessed Trinity and also shares in the Church's mission of inviting others to share in God's love.
