DISPLAY MODES
In Power ON condition
Display parameters are displayed in three diIIerent modes, Auto Scroll
Display, Manual Scroll Display & High resolution display mode.
Auto Scroll Display:
This is the deIault display mode. Meter will continuously scroll through Auto
Scroll Display parameters (ReIer Table-1). Each parameter will be displayed Ior
10 seconds. Parameters under Auto Scroll mode can also be viewed by
subsequent pressing oI SCROLL button.
Manual Scroll Display:
Switching Irom Auto Scroll mode to Manual Scroll mode is possible by long-
press oI SCROLL button. Parameters (ReIer Table-2) under Manual Scroll mode
can be viewed by subsequent pressing oI SCROLL button. Display mode will
automatically change Irom Manual Scroll mode to Auto Scroll mode iI SCROLL
button is not pressed Ior 10 seconds.
High resolution display:
Switching to High-resolution display (ReIer Table-3) is possible Irom mode-II
by single long press. Two long presses required to switch the display to High-
resolution mode Irom mode-I, First long press will switch the display to mode-II
and second long press will switch the display to High-resolution mode. Display
will automatically change Irom High-resolution display mode to Auto Scroll
mode (mode-I) iI SCROLL button is not pressed Ior 30 minutes.
AC Mains Power OFF condition
First press oI SCROLL button will activate internal battery and meter
display will start scrolling through Auto Scroll parameters.
To switch the display to diIIerent display modes reIer above explanation.
Display will go OFF aIter displaying the last parameter oI Mode-1, iI SCROLL
button is not pressed during the auto display cycle.

WARRANTY
Larsen & Toubro Limited warrants that Single Phase Static Energy Meter type
EM101 is Iree Irom deIects in workmanship and material.
Larsen & Toubro Limited`s obligation under this warranty shall be Ior a period
oI 5 years Irom the date oI sale subject to the Iollowing terms and conditions
provided the notice oI deIects and satisIactory prooI there oI is given to Larsen &
Toubro Limited by its Customer within the warranty period.
1. Larsen & Toubro Limited shall provide only repairs Ior the sold item.
2. DeIective parts shall be serviced or replaced by Larsen & Toubro Limited.
This warranty does not cover any deIect in the product caused by accident,
misuse, mishandling (includes improper electrical, mechanical installation),
tamper, neglect, alteration/modiIication or substitution oI any oI the components
or parts, or any attempt oI internal adjustment by unauthorized service personnel.
For applicability oI warranty Larsen & Toubro Limited shall be the sole judge.
The meters will be supplied in Factory Sealed Conditions, and the Warrantee
Clause will not be acceptable once Iactory seal is broken.
Under no circumstance shall Larsen & Toubro Limited be liable Ior any
consequential or resulting injury or Ior loss, damage or expense directly or
indirectly Irom the use oI this product.
The Ioregoing warranty is in lieu oI all other warranties, expressed or implied,
and is the sole and exclusive remedy Ior any claim arising Irom any deIect in the
product.
