Purpose This document defines the maximum transportation times of blood and blood components packed in Clinimed boxes with the appropriate configuration of thermal insulation packs. Responsibilities Issue Managers - Ensure that staff are properly trained and are aware of the requirements of this document. Ensure that adequate packaging equipment is available including boxes, Medicool packs and dry ice.
