CONFERENCE FOREWORD Social Entrepreneurship is oriented towards reversing an imbalance in the social, structural, political system by producing and sustaining positive social change via innovation in the social sector. Social businesses serve as catalysts for sustained development aiming to achieve a triple bottom line - social as well as sustainable financial returns through products, services and business practices that positively impact the environment. Social Entrepreneurship as a catalyst for sustainable development has begun to take root in emerging economies and therefore, the conference is an effort in this direction. This conference will provide a platform for the participants to interact with inspiring change makers, gain insights into the challenges of the social sector and evolve means to promote social entrepreneurship as a tool for social change. The full paper will be subjected to blind review by a panel of eminent academicians and professionals. The acceptance of the paper will be communicated through email to the first author of the paper. All the selected papers will be published in an edited volume bearing ISBN number.
PAPER IN ABSENTIA The conference provides an opportunity to the authors to present the papers in absentia as well. Papers on the conference theme presented in absentia are eligible to be included in the conference proceedings and also get a certificate. The registration fee and dates will remain the same for the paper in absentia. In case of joint papers, each author will have to register individually. The registration fee is non-refundable. However, changes in name of the participant will be accepted.
