A VOICE FOR THE WORLD

1. DATE AND SITE OF THE FINAL OF FESTIVAL 2. ORGANIZERS


2.1 The Organizers of Festival are: Danza in Federazione International Vocal Union

1.1 The Final of Festival will be carry out in Bellaria (Italy) on September 6th (last Italy selections), 7th (semifinals foreign singers and Italians), 8th (finals, Grand Gal, awards) 2012.

3. RULES OF PARTICIPATION
3.1 In the Festival can participate: CHORALS; GROUPS; COLLECTIVES; DUOS; SOLOISTS Who have taken part in National Selections Festivals (under condition of a double payment). Those are divided for age categories and Typology.

4. AGE CATEGORIES AND TIPOLOGY:


4.1 SOLO (1 Participant) Children till 9 years; Children from 10 to 12 years; Young man from 13 to 16 years; Youth from 17 to 19 years; Adults from 20 to 30 years; Adults from 31 years and more. 4.2 DUO Children till 9 years; Children from 10 to 12 years; Young man from 13 to 16 years; Youth from 17 to 19 years; Adults from 20 to 30 years; Adults from 31 years and more.

4.3 CHORALS GROUPS - COLLECTIVES (from 3 participants) Children till 9 years; Children till 13 years; Young man till 16 years; Youth till 20 years; Adults from 21 years. 4.4 TIPOLOGIES: Variety Vocal (Cover); Folk vocal Academy vocal; Songwriters ; Vocal - Choreographic composition;

5. PROGRAM REQUIRED
5.1 For Nominations in Categories solo, duo: 1 song for Selections and Semi-finals, FINAL 2 Songs. The sum of time duration of both songs in the Final, must not be more than 8 minutes in total. 5.2 The songs are executed On Live with Musical Base. Use of Musical base with chorus, its allowed; Double Voice (Recording own voice, in the Musical Base), its NOT allowed. 5.3 For Nominations in Categories Chorals Groups Collectives: 1 Song Selections and Semi-Finals, FINAL 2 songs. The sum of time duration of both songs in the Final, must not be more than 10 minutes in total.. 5.4 The songs are executed On Live. Use of Musical base with chorus, its allowed. 5.5 All songs must be recorded ONLY ON COMPACT DISK (CD) OR MINI DISK IN CD FORMAT (CDA NOT MP3 OR OTHERS FORMAT). Each Compact Disk (or Mini Disk) cannot to have more than 1 song recorded. ITS OBLIGATORY TO KEEP ONE COPY IN CASE OF MALFUNCTION OF MASTER.

6. FESTIVAL JURY AND JUDGING CRITERIA


6.1 The Jury will be chosen and decided by Festival Organizers. In the Jury will be present: Professional Singers, Teachers of singing Schools from: Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, Italy and also other Nations. Singers who will participate in the Competition, CANNOT be present in Jury panel. 6.2 Judging criteria will be following: Professionality and quality of the repertory performed; On the whole system (Clothing, Song presentation, Musical quality and of record etc.); Technical and technological level of production; Convey an emotion; Care product; Participants scenic culture; 6.3 Festival Jury has the right: Assign position for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, place; Assign, during the competition, the prize Grand-Prix; Assign to participants classified on 1st, 2nd, 3rd place, a Diploma and a memory of the event; Assign a Diploma for Best Execution; Assign a Special Prize, including also the best teacher, leaders of Group/Choral/Collective; Deliver a thanksgiving letter to Teachers, Leaders of Groups/Chorals/Collectives, about participation on the Festival; Not to award any prize. 6.4 The Jury will do, for each Category, a Panel Discussion together Teachers, Leaders of Groups/Chorals/Collectives, with debate concerning the performances and Festivals results; 6.5 Who want partecipate as Judge, it has to send a request to the Organisers. It has to specify what is the specialization who has kept, attaching own curriculum. The request will be assessed and examinated to Organiser Commission. The result will be communicated subsequently. (Positive or Negative).

7. MODE OF JUDGEMENT AND AWARDS


7.1 After each show, voting of Jury will be a decision after Exchange of opinions between the Jury itself. The Decision will be part of the report, who will be signed by whole Judges and by President of Jury. Voting of Jury will be available the same day of the show, but it will not be in anyway modifiable. 7.2 To participants who will placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd place, in each category, it will be gave a Diploma of Participation to The Festival A VOICE FOR THE WORLD, a Diploma of Classification (1st, 2nd, 3rd place) and a memory of the competition. 7.3 A Diploma of participation A VOICE FOR THE WORLD will be delivered to all participants as memory of competition. 7.4 Soloists of Variety Vocal (Cover) of the Category Youth from 17 to 19 years and Adults from 20 to 30 years placed on the 1st place, will get an award of $ 200 (150,00 Euros). 7.5 Organisers, together the Jury, will determine the winner of Grand-Prix (only one winner between all Categories). The winner will receive: a Diploma, a Cup and an award of $ 500 (400 Euros). 7.6 All awards and special awards, will be assign during Grand Gal who will closed the Festival.

8. APPLICATION FORM
8.1 To participate on the Festival, candidates have to send: 1. The list of participants of the Chorals/Gourps/Collectives/Duo/Soloist with Name, Surname, Age, Country and Town of born and a copy of document of each participant. Documents will need to confirm the provenience from the Nation who is affiliated at International Vocal Union for 2012. 2. Short Curriculum; 3. One photo and, if its possible, we would like also an audio or video. 8.2. Deadline to accept the application forms is June 30th 2012. Application forms must be sent to following email: dj-valerio@gmail.it 8.3 ATTENTION!!!!!! Application forms are considered valid only in case of reply. Organisers, however, reserve them to accept or to refuse application forms delivered after June 30th 2012.

9. COST OF INSCRIPTIONS
9.1. Festival is financed by voluntary donations or financing delivered by sponsor possibly presents. 9.2. The cost of inscription in the Festival are the following:

PARTICIPANTS WHO HAVE TOOK APART IN SELECTIONS:


30,00 Euros for each component of Chorals/Groups/Collectives; 100,00 Euros for Duo (50,00 euros for each one) 50,00 Euros for Soloists (every Soloist can increase its repertory, paying an additional fee)

PARTICIPANTS WHO HAVENT TOOK APART IN SELECTIONS:


60,00 Euros for each component of Chorals/Groups/Collectives; 200,00 Euros for Duo (100,00 euros for each one) 100,00 Euros for Soloists (every Soloist can increase its repertory, paying an additional fee)

10. SPECIAL CONDITIONS


10.1 Organisers reserve to right to grant participation free to one of participants who has took apart in a series of Selections. Expenses of inscription, travel, board and lodging will be paid by Organisers of each Festival. 10.2 Participants who are classified on the first place of the Festivals, will be entitled a discount of 30% on the cost of inscriptions; 10.3 All expenses of travel, board, and lodging of participants, Teachers, managers and Parents are dependent on them; 10.4 The condition of member of the International Vocal Union may be requested by sending: Passport photo; Name Surname and address; Date, Town and Country of born; Nationality; to the following email: book@svu.com.ua. Payment of annual fee give entitled a discount of 10,00 Euros. 10.5 Cost of admission tickets (Accompaniers and Parents included) is 15,00 Euros.
