Candidates are advised to read all the instructions given below and as given in the detailed advertisement (along with its subsequent amendments, if any, available on the PSPCL website (www.pspcl.in) carefully to proceed for the registration process. 13. Candidates should have separate valid personal E-mail ID(s) for each post for which they are applying. This/These E-mail ID(s) should be kept active during the currency of this recruitment process. 14. Further, the candidates are requested to check regularly their e-mail for any communication from PSPCL. No communication will be sent by post. 15. Candidates should take utmost care to furnish the correct details while filling in online application. Any mistake committed by the candidate shall be his/her sole responsibility. No subsequent corrections/modifications are allowed once the online application is registered at the respective stages. The candidate should fill 'Category' field carefully. Once the application is submitted/ completed, the Category filled shall not be changed in any case. 16. Read para 4 of detailed advertisement for Age Relaxation. In case of applicant age is more than the upper limit of 37 years, the application of the candidate is being registered provisionally and the candidate has to furnish the requisite documents during document checking in support of the age relaxation allowed as per the instructions prevalent and his/her candidature is liable for rejection at any stage and he shall has no claim what so ever. 17. During the registration process time and before finally submitting the application, if you click on the Logout button or exit from the process, your data will not be saved. 18. The candidates may however note that Online Application would be treated as incomplete and rejected unless accompanied with Step 2 of registration. 19. The registration shall commence on 21.05.2012 and the closing date for Registration of Application Form is 08.06.2012. Both the steps 1 & 2 of the process of registration should be completed in all respects by closing date. 20. Candidates are advised in their own interest to apply on-line much before the closing date and not to wait till the closing date for registration to cover up the possibility of disconnection/ inability/failure to log on the PSPCL website on account of heavy load on

internet/website jam. The PSPCL does not assume any responsibility for the candidates not being able to submit their applications within the last date on account of the aforesaid reasons or for any other reason whatsoever. 21. On Successful registration of on-line application for a particular post, candidates will not attempt for re-registration in case of multiple registrations for the same, the candidature will be cancelled / rejected for all such multiple registrations without any further notice/intimation to the candidate and no registration will be entertained. 22. For any query related to registration of Step 1 or Step 2 and admit card candidates can mail at pspclrect11@gmail.com. Only relevant mails will be replied. 23. Physically Handicapped (PH)/Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates applying for a particular post must ensure that they are eligible for benefit of reservation under PH/PWD category as per lists identified by the Punjab Government. Relevant information of which are available at Annexure Y. A scribe to write the written examination on behalf of a Visually impaired or Orthopedically Handicapped candidate whose writing speed is affected by Cerebral Palsy, will be provided by PSPCL (if required) at the time of examination. The scribe will be given with qualifications as per the norms.

System Requirements
Browser & Screen Settings: The application should be viewed in Full Screen Mode or press F11 to view the complete application form. To get back to your original mode again apply Full Screen Mode or press F11 Disable pop-up blocker.

During the registration process, do not press the browser back button or refresh button. The application is best viewed in the resolution 1024X768 and Internet Explorer 8 or above.

How to Apply
Steps for online registration are mentioned below: -

There are two Steps in the online registration. The applicant has to fill Step 1 and Step 2 to successfully complete online submission of application; Step 1 will be for entering personal and other details where as Step 2 for entering fee/bank details, uploading the photo and signature. The online application would be successfully submitted only if the applicant completes both Step 1 and Step 2. STEP - 1: Before you start filling up the Step 1 of On-line application, make sure the Relevant information regarding Age & Academic Qualification, experience etc. are fulfilled as mentioned in the advertisement regarding eligibility details/documents are readily available with you. To start filling Step 1 click on "START REGISTRATION" button to start the registration process. Please sign up to create your user ID and password before filling up the form for a particular post (Please note that you need separate email IDs for applying for separate posts). After signing up, the 1st E-Mail will be sent to your registered email ID that will contain your Username/login ID and password. Please check your spam folder also for the mail. Please enter your personal details, age, category, educational qualification etc. Candidate can also view the details entered by them after clicking the Next button and if required, can correct/Modify the same by clicking on edit/Modify option before proceeding further. Click on "Submit" button to complete the step 1 of registration process. Please note that after clicking on submit button the candidate will not be able to change/edit any filled in details. The 2nd E-mail will be sent to your registered email ID informing you about the Registration Reference Number. After completing of step-1, a pre-printed bank challan (one set consisting of three copies) with the details of the candidate will be generated. Print of the same should be taken by the candidate by clicking on the link provided. (If you need to print the challan later on also, you may re-login in PSPCLs with the user ID and password sent on your registered email). After printing of Bank challan slip, the same has to be taken to any branch of State Bank of Patiala. The candidate shall deposit the requisite fee in the Bank & obtain a Computer generated transaction number (i.e. Journal No, Journal Date and 5 digit Bank Branch Code) from the Bank on the challan. STEP - 2: -

Before start filling up the Step 2 of On-line application, make sure that the Bank Challan Slip (after depositing fee with bank details), scanned/soft copy of the photo and signature to be uploaded are readily available. The photo should be of 20-50KB and signature should be of 10-20KB. The format of both should be .jpeg/.jpg/.gif/.png. Please read Guidelines for uploading photo and signature. After filling up bank details, uploading photo and signature, recheck the same in view option, edit if necessary and click on submit button. Upon successful submission of Step 2 of registration process, the 3rd E-mail will be sent to your registered email ID within 24 hours. Please check your spam folder also. The candidate is required to login again for taking print out of the final application on A4 size paper and retain it after signing the same for future requirements. Please do not send this print out to PSPCL. The application has to be submitted only through online mode. Note:-The candidate has to retain the PSPCL copy of Bank Challan slip along with copy of registered application form which is to be shown/submitted at the time of written examination or any time thereafter.
