Applicant Details
1. General Membership **Only accepting applications for instructor at this time. Minimum 2-year commitment if being certified through organization. 2. Executive Board and Committee Positions (Need review of positions) **must be applying as an instructor to be eligible for the officer positions. Descriptions
1. General Positions: Instructor: Instructors will be American Heart Association certified to teach CPR and First Aid. Instructors are required to teach at least 1 course per month, and attend training meetings mandated by the Director. All instructor candidates must be AHA CPR and First Aid certified. If you are not currently certified, CU CPR will certify you provided that you commit to teaching the required number of courses and can demonstrate the appropriate skill level to teach CPR. Instructors may apply for executive board positions.

2. Executive Board Position descriptions (Review) Personnel Officer

a. Serve as the Chair of the Personnel Committee and preside over all meetings b. Act as an aide to the Chief Medical Officer in the certification and in-hose training of all Training Members. c. Be responsible for all scheduling all Instructors d. Maintain records of Instructor certifications e. Aide the Site Director in scheduling all courses f. Ensure that all open courses are registered to the Columbia Ticket Information Centers online system g. Ensure that all affiliates requesting courses are assigned to courses in a timely manner, or are contacted to explain why he or she has not been assigned in the case of overwhelming requests. h. Maintain an up-to-date list of all members, and an archive of old members i. Maintain a list and contact information of all students of CU CPR. Finance Officer a. Serve as the Chair of the Finance Committee and preside over all meetings. b. Present a budget and a tentative schedule of suggested fundraising activities for the finance of CU CPR to be approved by the President and the Executive Board before June 1st. c. Deal with the day-to-day expenditures of CU CPR, including but not limited to supplies, certifications, and card fees. d. Make sure that CU CPR does not incur any liabilities. e. Ensure that money used on behalf of CU CPR is used wisely and in a manner that suits the purposes of CU CPR. Personnel Officer a. Oversees the scheduling mechanism of CU-CPR b. responsible for all scheduling (at least two instructors per class) c. must schedule class room 2 weeks in advance to class date d. organize mailing of reminder emails to instructors/students prior to class e. responsible for overseeing that each instructor has instructed the minimum trials required Executive Secretary: a. Oversees the notation functions of CU-CPR b. Responsible for taking minutes at the administrative and general membership meetings c. Make minutes available decided by Coordinator, no later than 24 hours after each meeting d. responsible for mailing all notifications (excluding CPR card)
