Course Objective:
This training course will give practical knowledge and skills how to monitor and evaluate projects, programmes and organizations. Participants will learn how to ask and answer common M&E questions, such as; which data do need to understand the context, outputs, outcome and impact, who collects analyses and processes these data, when and how. Furthermore, they will experience how monitoring and evaluation can be turned into (participative) learning. Upon completion of this course, participants would be able to formulate and plan programmes and projects that meet targets analyze and report on M&E results, and suggest action for decision-making.

Design of the Training:


The design of the training will be as follows: Theoretical, knowledge based sessions introducing the M&E concepts explained through ample real-life examples Followed by practical group work to allow for contextualized learning and results in practical outputs for participants.

Who can Participate:


Professionals who are involved in formulating, managing or monitoring interventions and/or prepare, supervise or participate in evaluations. These can be desk officers, programme managers, task managers for a national or local government, for an international donor agency or for an NGO/ research institutes.

Data collection tools Information analysis for decision making Getting familiar with different question types and getting to know the most common types of data collection instruments.

Course Fee:
The training fee is PKR 15,000 covering all training costs including cost for training material, stationery, resource persons, lunch and working tea. Further details of the discount are as follows: 10 % discount is available on registering more than two participants from each organization 10% discount is available for participants from outside Rawalpindi/Islamabad
