Mission of the CTU: Provides advanced professional and technical instruction for special purposes, industrial trade, teacher education, agriculture, fishery, forestry, engineering aeronautics and land-based programs, arts and sciences, health sciences, information technology and other relevant fields of study. It shall undertake research, production and extension services and provide progressive leadership across the areas of specialization for global empowerment. (R.A. 9744) Mission of the College: The college is continuously striving to provide the industry, both local and international, the needed manpower, highly educated and trained according to the current engineering quality standards. Vision of the College: Global recognition in engineering education excellence Aim of the College: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Provide quality engineering education and technical skills training attuned to the changing needs of the industry; Train and develop students to be future leaders of the society imbued with the sense of social responsibility and environmental consciousness; Produce quality engineering graduates ready for the global market; Produce innovative designs and technology-related researches for the benefit of the society; Provide training and technical know-how to communities for their empowerment, increased livability and sustainability.

Aim of the Program: BSIE To prepare students for a professional Industrial Engineering career including a leading role in the design, improvement and installation of integrated system of people, materials, information, equipment, and energy. Graduates of the program must have specialized knowledge and skills in the mathematical, physical, and social sciences together with the principles and methods of engineering analysis and design to specify, predict and evaluate the results to be obtained from such system. BSCE 1. To provide better facilities of life to the communities e.g. Better water supply system, Sewerage system, traffic system etc. 2. To layout the physical features of the earth by Surveying and Leveling. 3. To provide safer designs of Canals, Dams, Barrages, trek. 4. To provide better network of roads and Highways, to ensure comfortable traffic system.

Course Outline: The course deals with practices and techniques of graphic arts and design; application of drawing instruments, units of measure; orthographic projections; auxiliary views; dimensioning; sectional views; requirements of engineering working drawings; and assembly and exploded detailed drawings. It also deals with CAD (Computer Aided Design or Drafting), by using AutoCAD software application for 2D and 3D design on Architectural, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering and Manufacturing. General Objective: A. Cognitive 1. Acquaint students on the importance of technical drawing in accordance to their field of specialization. 2. Introduce techniques and technological know-how on technical drawing. 3. Familiarize the different drawing instruments, its uses and care. 4. Knowledge on CAD (Computer Aided Design or Drafting) 5. Knowledge on AutoCAD software application for 2D and 3D modeling on Architectural, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Structural Engineering and Manufacturing. B. Affective 1. Be sensitive to the attainment of the college mission related to effective education and training in Science and technology which includes knowledge in Engineering drawing. 2. Adapt the appropriate knowledge and skills in actual work; 3. Maintain and develop interest in learning. C. Psychomotor 1. Construct using free hand drawing and automation. 2. Draw the different views of drawing. 3. Acquire skills in making different views of drawing, dimensioning and construction of drawing on free hand and automation.
