Presidents Notes
Happy Spring, Alliance members! I hope everyone is taking a few moments out of their busy schedules to stop and enjoy the grandeur of spring. The beginning of the spring season signifies the ending of our Alliance season. We have enjoyed an eventful and fantastic season full of new social endeavors and rewarding community projects. Thank you to all the members who participated in the Kidney Mobile on April 11, 2011. Your services were appreciated not only by the Kidney Mobile committee but also by the Quincy community. I also want to thank everyone for making the time and effort to attend the general meetings as well as participate in our other service projects. Another Vince Lombardi quote echoes in my mind as I reflect on our accomplishments this year: Individual commitment to a group effortthat is what makes a teamwork Our meetings and projects would not have gone smoothly without your time and efforts. Last but not least, we have one last community project: Bridge the Gap Water Station. Let us come together one more time and lend our support to this tremendous charity and its racers! I hope to see many of you at our last general meeting on April 27th! Sheila Biggs -
