Our Bank has shown market leadership in Rwanda by focussing on banking the unbanked and building a ubiquitous retail footprint while at the same time financing large projects that are changing the landscape of Rwanda as a result of our large capital base. Through the Initial Public Offering in 2011, the Bank became a truly international and regional player through the diversity of the shareholders, commented James Gatera, Chief Executive Officer.
I would like to congratulate our entire team on having scaled the heights for this award. The Bank has managed to sustain its market leadership and continuously deliver good returns to our shareholders and I am pleased that this has been recognised regionally, commented Lado Gurgenidze, Chairman of the Board.
