XPERIENCE Held numerous labouring vacancies; however upon the birth of my son I made the decision to enter into higher education in order to educate myself and pursue a career. Worked alongside the ICT team at Kilmarnock College, on a voluntary basis whilst a student there. During this time I installed cabling, wireless access points and Power-Over-Ethernet adapters as well as performing various other tasks. I have also gained valuable experience on a personal level, by repairing numerous PCs and laptops. DDITIONAL Student Mentor: NFORMATION I was asked to volunteer as a Student Mentor whilst at College. I had enhanced disclosure checks completed, and I was cleared to be a mentor. However, personal circumstances at the time did not allow for me to follow through with this, but this is a role I will undertake in the future. Class Rep: I was nominated as class representative for 3 consecutive years at college and University. This involved me attending meetings on behalf of the students, and raising any issues they may have. This required me to have excellent presentation and communication skills. Student of the Year: Upon completion of the HND Computing (June 2011) I was voted Student of the Year.

SPIRATIONS

I will be aiming for an IT position which offers me the opportunity to develop new skills whilst also allowing me to strengthen those I already possess. Ideally my enthusiasm and ambition, coupled with my knowledge would allow for progression. OBBIES & ECREATION

I am a keen aquarist and keep a varied species of saltwater fish, which require continued dedication and attention. I also run an amateur football team, of which I am the President and Treasurer. In addition to this I enjoy general keep fit, and recently ran a marathon in aid of Yorkhill Sick Childrens Hospital, which although very difficult, I found extremely rewarding.
