EuroNest Parliamentary Assembly Simulation is the project created by the Georgian students gathered under nongovernmental organization Free

Parliament that is strongly supported by the leading universities of Georgia, Tbilisi City Hall and Tbilisi Youth Information Centre. The organization has already held 5 sessions. For the first 2 years of its vehement activities, Free Parliament has already held the simulations of European Parliament, Commonwealth Parliamentary Association and the Parliament of Worlds Religions. Now we are organizing EuroNest Parliamentary Assembly Simulation that will be held in the picturesque town of Sighnaghi in easternmost region of Kakheti.

EuroNest Parliamentary Assembly Simulation is an international student simulation of the EuroNest Parliamentary Assembly member states. As for the EuroNest Parliamentary Assembly, it is the parliamentary forum to promote political association and further economic integration between the European Union and the Eastern European Partners (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine). EuroNest is to contribute to the strengthening, development and visibility of the Eastern Partnership, as the institution responsible for parliamentary consultation, supervision and monitoring.

During the simulation, the selected delegates from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova will work in 4 standing committees of EuroNest Parliamentary Assembly: 1. Committee on Political Affairs, Human Rights and Democracy; 2. Committee on Economic Integration, Legal Approximation and Convergence with EU Policies; 3. Committee on Energy Security; 4. Committee on Social Affairs, Education, Culture and Civil Society.

The EuroNest Parliamentary Assembly Simulation comprises the following stages: 1. Preparations Introducing the simulation and topics to students; dividing them into committees; handling out background material. 2. Committee works getting started; brainstorming; defining the problems; discussing and debating; developing solutions; formulating clauses for the resolutions; writing the solutions. 3. General Assembly presenting the resolutions; defense speeches; attack speeches; voting.
