The number of private cars theft shows a steady decline of reported cases; In 1995, the number of all vehicles stolen grew steadily. The number of motorcycle theft cases also grew considerably. On the other hand, the number of private car theft reported cases still shows a steady decline. In 2000, the number of stolen vehicles cases rose up markedly/rapidly/ sharply. The number of stolen motorcycle also increased rapidly. Private car theft shows a slight increase in reported cases. In the year 2005, the number of stolen vehicles cases increase sharply/dramatically. The number of stolen motorcycle cases also grew dramatically. However, the number of reported cases for stolen private cars dropped slowly. In the year 2010, the number of vehicles stolen shows a considerable drop/decline. The number of motorcycle cases reported also dropped considerably while the number of private cars cases dropped slightly.

Suggestion:

Suggestion 1: Equip all vehicles with the latest high-technology security gadgets such as GPS tracking system, alarm systems and locks. This will , at least, hinder thieves from getting away with the vehicles in a short time. This will give the owners more time to be alerted of any theft occurring. Suggestion 2: Avoid keeping/leaving valuables such as laptop, handphones, ipads, purses, handbags in the cars. This will discourage would-be thieves from breaking into the car. Suggestion 3: Make sure to park your car in safe places/ areas such as secured car parkings, well-lit car parkings. This will avoid car break-ins because thieves cannot operate well in a highly-public areas. Suggestion 4: make sure you keep all your windows wind-up. Thieves will use the small openings in the windows to open your door and break-in.

Body 3: It can cause traffic congestion o Most vehicles used by the factory are big lorries and trailers. They can take up most of the road and this will cause congestion as other vehicles have to compete with these lorries/trucks; Residents will find it difficult to arrive at their destinations in time because they have to give way to vehicles that travel to and fro the factory every day. Besides, these heavy vehicles can cause big potholes and this pose a risk to the residents using the roads.

Children like to play by the roadside. They can get run over by a lorry if they are not careful enough. The elderly or cyclists might get knocked down by vehicle if they are not fast enough to avoid the big trucks and lorries. INTRODUCTION

Taman Bahagia is located in Pujut areas which is about 6 kilometers from town centre. The population of the residents is about 2,000 people and is showing a marked increase in the near future. Taman Bahagia residential area is provided with a good number of facilities which make

life convenient. Such facilities built are a playground, a 2 kilometer running track, a community hall and a football field. However, our residential area lack a bicycle lane track that would improve the quality of our life overall. Below are several reasons why we propose a new 5 kilometers bicycle lane for Taman Bahagia to be considered by the relevant authorities.

PROPOSAL

1. The safety of the cyclists

If the proposed bicycle lane is approved by the relevant authorities, this will ensure the overall safety of the residents especially those who love to cycle. The risk of being run over by cars and motorcycle will be reduced if a proper lane is built to accommodate the cyclist. Besides, the elderly and children can cycle at their own pace in this assigned area.

To conclude, the relevant authorities need to look into this problem due to the reasons proposed above and come up with a winning solution for all parties involved.

GETTING A DRIVING LICENSE IN MALAYSIA

In Malaysia, anyone above the age of 17 years, are allowed to get a driving license. To get a driving license, the following steps must be taken.
