For SY 2012, partner universities are the eight ERDT Universities. Other universities may be considered on a case-to-case basis. Pursuing a science or engineering degree. Filipino citizen, without pending immigration application to any foreign country. Good mental, physical, and emotional health. Good moral character. CONDITIONS TO MAINTAIN SUPERFUND SCHOLARSHIPS Must maintain a GPA equivalent to B, without a failing grade in any course. Must remain in a science or engineering major until completion of a degree. Shifting majors (within science or engineering) is subject to review and approval by the SuperFund Scholarship Committee. The scholarship will not cover increased academic workloads due to changes in required courses for the new major. Must be enrolled as a full-time student. Must not be employed until the completion of the degree. Must not be involved in a disciplinary case. Must be willing to participate in a summer internship, annual camps and other programs. Must be willing to render the required service obligation equivalent to one (1) year of service for every year of scholarship, for a total of four or five years.

ADDITIONAL TERMS FOR SUPERFUND SCHOLARSHIPS SuperFund Scholarships are supplemental, not additive, to any other scholarship/s the applicant has been awarded. Extension of period of study may be allowed on a case-to-case basis, for a maximum of one (1) academic year. Deferment of scholarship award is allowed for one (1) regular semester only. If the grantee fails to enroll after the deferment period, the scholarship will be forfeited. In case the scholar will be unable to complete undergraduate studies, the scholar is required to fully repay all privileges received from the scholarship plus 12% of the amount to cover administration costs of the scholarship. This is consistent with ERDT. Repayment of scholarship over ten years, to make the SuperFund Scholarships self-sustaining, as well as to instill a value system for the scholars to pay it forward.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR SUBMISSION Scholarship application used by partner university Resume or Curriculum Vitae of candidate Official transcript of records, authenticated by high school Written certification from the applicants high school principal on the applicants status of being in the top 5% of their graduating class 5. Certificate of good moral character written by the applicants principal or guidance counselor 6. 2 x 2 photograph, taken within a month of scholarship application 7. Statement from the applicants parents or guardian indicating that the applicant has not applied as a resident or immigrant in any foreign country 8. NSO copy of birth certificate 9. Health certificate accomplished by a PhilDev-accredited doctor 10. Parents most recent income tax return 11. Disclosure of possible conflict of interest (immediate and extended familial relation to any PhilDev staff and board member, donor company executive and employee, Partner University administrator and employee, and other institutions involved in the screening and selection of SuperFund Scholars) SCREENING PROCESS First-Level Screening a. Partner University, using their own scholarship application process, endorses a shortlist of applicants to PhilDev, based on the eligibility requirements of the SuperFund Scholarships. The shortlist will be endorsed by the Universitys Admissions Office. b. Partner University collates required documents for submission from each shortlisted applicant, and hands these documents over to PhilDev upon endorsement of shortlisted applicants. Please submit electronic (scanned) copies of the documents only; hard/original copies will be requested as needed. Second-Level Screening a. The SuperFund Committee, along with selected PhilDev Trustees and representatives from donor companies, will conduct a panel interview for each shortlisted candidate. b.
