Shirley is of no exception. Kill me first before I step on that stage! common statements. Shirley can say been there, done that. But that was before. If you only see Shirley now. Very far different. She changed, changed for the better. JCI is an instrument in honing her towards administration, control, guidance and camaraderie. Because of JCI, she eventually understood the saying A Leader is Not A Boss Her membership with JCI granted opportunities that shaped her and prepared her for greater challenges. She was able to undergo trainings and seminars which taught her to become a better person. Now, because of JCIs advocacy to empower young people to create positive change, SHIRLEY BALANTAC is a changed person. FROM NOTHING TO SOMETHNG. TRAININGS AND SEMINARS ATTENDED: BRINGING OUT THE DIAMOND IN YOU ASIA PACIFIC CONFERENCE, MANILA Eager to learn and be better, she participated the seminars given during the ASPAC. This seminar motivated her that everyone can be a leader thus can create positive change.

A seminar that taught Shirley that anyone can be successful with anything. SEMINAR ON BASIC PHOTOGRAPHY ANGELES PAMPANGA Travelling 4hours away from home for a seminar is something. Shirley Balantac who is an enthusiast of phogtography, influencd by JCI, attended the said seminar and motivated her even more to develop photography skills.

TRAININGS AND SEMINARS CONDUCTED: As a NEW TRAINER, Shirley Balantac, then, together with the other members, conducted trainings in order to develop and expand their experience in training others, JCI members and baby jaycees.. She was persistent and encouraging that she chaired and co chaired Trainings to be conducted by other trainers. To initiate Training skills, Shirley was able to conduct some training a few weeks after she graduated as TRAINER. STRESS MANAGEMENT SEMINAR SAINT LOUIS UNIVERSITY A Seminar with an ultimate ultimate goal is a balanced life, with time for work, relationships, relaxation, and fun plus the resilience to hold up under pressure and meet challenges head on.A seminar that deals with taking charge in Managing stress: taking charge of your thoughts, your emotions, your schedule, your environment, and the way you deal with problems It was successfully attended by 24 participants

STRESS MANAGEMENT SEMINAR CANDON,LOCOS SUR Together with fellow JCI members, Shirley was invited to give another Stress Management seminar at candon.It was an achievement for a new trainer to be invited by other chapters.The seminar was attended by 2 JCI Chapters.

Shirley Balantac is looking forward to conduct more seminars. Not only with the purpose of obtaining her own experiences and be an effective trainer but to encourage other fellow trainers to train too.

These trainings are conducted by prestigious head trainers of JCI. As a start, being a JCI Presenter, she was able to apply it to her profession as medical representative and in JCI formal meetings. Graduating as a JCI Trainer then, leads to a range of qualities needed to be a trainer. Even so, she was committed to her tasks. She, then, together with the other members, conducted trainings (ie, Stress management, NMOs) in order to develop and expand their experience in training others, JCI members and baby jaycees. Not only with the purpose of obtaining her own experiences, she was able to encourage other fellow trainers to train too. She was persistent and encouraging that she chaired and co chaired Trainings to be conducted by other trainers. These steps she took are ways of commitment to the values of JCI.
