WORKBOOK IN PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT AND PUBLIC RELATIONS PROPONENTS : DURATION : OBJECTIVES : General: The workbook is devised out of a felt need for a guide in personality development by schools in their personality development courses or by non-government organizations in their personality development programs and those involved in human formation. Effective human relations and personality development are becoming more and more necessary for personal and business success. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT The workbook will discuss all aspects of personality development. It is divided into modules which are presented and are organized in a manner that would allow flexibility in use. The modules can be taken up in any order in accordance to the need of students. Concepts, nature and importance of personality development will be discussed in module 1. It will make you analyze and understand the importance of studying personality development. Simple strategies to personality development are in module 2. Visible and invisible characteristics - as well as appealing and repelling personality are discussed in this module. Module 3 discusses about the physical aspects of personality which focuses on the outer beauty and its components such as the health, grooming, basic wardrobe and accessories are discussed. Module 4 is all about the development of the intellectual aspect of personality. Intellectual traits, mental health, decision making skills and good study habits are elaborated. Module 5 is about developing the social aspect of personality. Here, manners and etiquette are given emphasis. Module 6 tackles topics on emotional intelligence, motivations, stress management, and strategies on how to live a happy life. Module 7 is about developing the psychological aspect of personality. Here the values system is very well discussed. The last module is all about public relations. In this chapter the student will be taught on how to develop his professional business personality. METHODOLOGY The faculty may use various strategies, aside from classroom discussion, to make the discussion interesting and lively like role playing, realizations, interviews with interesting people and sharing of experience.
