RUSH news

Andrew and Lucy have sent a wonderful letter with all the latest news from RUSH, the major charity that Springfield supports. Will has posted it on his blog, and your smartphone can access it directly from the QR code on the right. Our new family list is being finalised next week time, so if you have any changes or additions, please let the office or welcome desk know. Springfields staff are away for three days from 3rd to 5th of July, so we will respond as quickly as possible to all answerphone and email messages on our return. Ordinations
This afternoon, 1st of July, Springfields very own curate, Donna Lazenby, is going to be priested at Croydon Minster (formerly Croydon Parish Church, near Reeves Corner). The service is at 4.00 pm and we would love you to join us to support her on this momentous occasion: we look forward to seeing you there. Do take a camera if you go along, so we can share pictures with those unable to be there Please also pray for Sue Cooke who was ordained as a curate in Christchurch Cathedral, Oxford, yesterday.

Guate Update
The next team training session is on 7th July from 9.30 - 12.30 at HighView school. +CHANGE OF DATE+ The set up for holiday club is now on the Sunday 29th July from 1 to 5 pm at High View School Trish King sends her thanks to all who came to see her off last Sunday at St Pauls: it was such a lovely friendly occasion. Over 300 was raised which will be forwarded to Latin Link to support the mission there. Thank you so much. Trish says that Guatemala is lovely and warm, and she is adjusting to the time difference- work starts today

Ladies Disco
The Swan Cell have organised a ladies disco on July 6th. Its a great place to bring your friends for the evening so ask the cell members for invites and tickets. The website has a flyer with details which you can visit using this QR code, or via the Springfield website

MiX
Dont forget the next MiX is on July 6th for all our young people (year 6 upwards) and their friends. Its only a pound and is a great place for some fun.

Diary Update
