SUCCESS STORIES SEBLA BOOK - A Gift to the Society

India Sudar published the self-explanatory book which consists of 60 experiments of SEBLA (Science Experimental Based Learning & Awareness) project. The book is published under India Sudar Open Charity Platform Licence (IS OCPL) and is open for free to any individual or organization. India Sudar thank Dr T V Venkateswaran, Scientist, Vigyan Prasar, Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi for his felicitation message. We extend our gratitude to our member Mr. Suresh Rajan for his passion towards the design and content preparation of the book. Also thanks to the entire India Sudar team behind the scenes for their valuable effort.

TEACHER DEPLOYMENT
VISIT TO SHESHADRIPURAM SLUM Members: Ramaseshan. S, Udhaya Kumar. V

Sheshadripuram Slum is one of the very needy slums in Bangalore. India Sudar had previously supported a few selected students from the slum. Now India Sudar is working to setup a learning centre in this place and adopt some of the needy students' under Scholarship project.

India Sudar team visited eleven schools in Gauribidanur to assess the utilization of books distributed by India Sudar in 2011. Most the schools have made full use of the books. The utilization percentage is around 85%. India Sudar takes time to congratulate all the students and teachers involved in making the project a grand success.

ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS

India Sudar has been supporting S. Suganya doing BE, ECE, 1st year in VLB College, Coimbatore. Her first semester exam results have come out and she scored a grade point average of 8.59 out of 10. India Sudar congratulates Suganya for her feat.

CAREER GUIDANCE PROGRAM

Date: 11th Feb

India Sudar conducted a Career Guidance Program at Channena Halli School, Magadi Road, Bangalore. The session was intended to provide students with details of different courses they can opt for after 12th standard. The session was mainly focussed on NDA and Aeronautics. At the end of the session, India Sudar team distributed study material for NDA entrance and a list of colleges offering Aeronautics engineering and Nano technology. 70 students participated in the program.

SEBLA
VELLAKOVIL UNION Members: T Kannan, G Dinesh Kumar

SEBLA is aimed at learning through science experiments. India Sudar has finished SEBLA project works at Vellakovil Panchayath Union Middle Schools. Till now we had finished 50 science experiments. More than 900 students from 16 schools in the Panchayath benefitted from the project.

Science exhibition was conducted at Panchayath Union Middle school for Girls, Krishnarayapuram, Karur. The exhibition was conducted in four schools and around 320 people attended the event.
