A Tradition Since 1903

Welcome new member, Mr. Tom Sawyer
We are so pleased to welcome THOMAS G. SAWYER. JR. to our membership! Yes, you are reading the name correctly. Thomas and his children Thomas G. III and Norah have been coming to Hannibal for years to celebrate the festivities here during the 4th of July. You may have seen them in recent years on news broadcasts or strolling the streets with the mayor. Thomas hails from Birmingham, Michigan, and is owner of Finn, Sawyer & Associates. They belong to a wonderful Country Club in Michigan so they thought it made sense to join us as well. This family will be highly visible at the Club during the first week of July so visit the Club and see them on the golf course, pool and clubhouse. Great to have Mr. Tom Sawyer and family on our roster!

4th of July Hours

Historically, the Club is all but abandoned on the evening of July 4. It makes obvious sense that folks are gathering with family and friends at their homes, etc. On Wednesday, July 4, the Club House will be open for lunch only. The golf course and pool will have their normal stated hours of operation. You may also come into the bar after 2 pm for beverages.

Junior Club Champions

Congratulations to our Junior Club Champions Quinn thomas, Heath Barrett and Claire thomas!

Managers Notes
We had a great time at the Directors Bar and Grill Night on June 15. All enjoyed taste-testing the Rueben Burger, Italiano Burger, Ranch Burger and Spicy Buffalo. We got wonderful reviews on all and Mike Mechlin, Jeff Bross, Ralph Shaw, Mac Fisher, Buddy Tarleton and Sally Poole did a fabulous job at the Cook-Off. Members cast their votes for their favorite burger in the form of a tip. It was neck-and-neck for a good long while until.....Sally Poole slyly confiscated all of Jeffs tip jar. And we know why she chose that particular tip jar to steal. Jeff won the competition with his Italiano Burger. Pool safety Note: Please adhere to the stated hours of operation at our pool. After 8 pm, the pool gate is locked and there is no life guard present. Our 2012 Life Guards are: Taylor Bennet, Kay Gieske, Andrew Richards, Will Pettibone and Brooke Watson. In accordance with the Hannibal Smoke-Free Air Act, we are obligated to conform with this law. Summer Menu Updates

Were adding some new salads and entrees to all of our menus. Many are on the lighter side and others simply graduated from favorite specials offered recently. Here are a few examples to tempt you: A Flatbread Pizza Appetizer with prosciutto, tomato, rosemary and fresh mozzarella. We know members love wraps so we have a Chicken Fajita and a Caesar Wrap. Salads are a must in summer and now we have a Taco, Antipasto, Crab, and The Seafood Louie Salads. Pesto Pasta, Diver Scallops and Grilled Chicken with Orange Salsa now appear on the dinner menu. Sunday Brunch will now offer Huevos Rancheros, Brioche French Toast and Bananas Foster Pancakes. We hope you will come in often to do your personal taste test soon!
