Finnair ups frequencies on Asian routes We have read this news and we have the ideas on 2 sides. Firstly, we agree that its good for travelers and businessmen if Finnair increases number of flight from Helsinki (Finland) to Asia and also connect to Australia. In contrast, we disagree with Finnair to raise the number of flight because Finnair will come to compete and share customers with local airlines in Asia. In one hand, it will be benefits for tourists from Finland because: Tourists can fly nonstop to Singapore This airline also adds frequency routes between Europe and Asia. Finnair plus more 2 aircrafts (Airbus 340-300) to join the routes to Asia. This airline carries passengers to Bangkok two flights a day in winter season. The flight to Singapore also can connect to Australia.

In the other hand, we disagree with the ideas in this news: Finnair fly from Helsinki to Singapore but the flight dropped at Bangkok (HEL-BKKSIN), it will be a competitor of low-cost airlines who fly from Bangkok to Singapore as AirAsia No balance flight because there is only single daily flight to BKK in summer If Finnair connect flight to many destinations (Australia, Hong Kong and Japan), it will be a competitor with many local airlines as Thai Airways International, Singapore Airline, Japan Airline, etc. To sum up, we agree that Finnair will help to increase more tourism economic situation in Asia but some ideas we afraid that low-cost or local airlines will be shared passengers from Finnair.
