Santorini, Greece
by Rok Ting - Editorial
During my trip to Greece in 2007, I visited Santorini. It is a beautiful island in the southern Aegean Sea. The architectures on the island feature the two characteristic colours of Greece - blue and white. The first picture (top-most) was the church at Oia facing the Aegean Sea. Its one of the famous photogenic place. The second picture (bottom-right) was taken during the sunset at Fira, capital of Santorini. The third picture (bottom-left) was taken at the Kamari Beach. The chairs and umbrellas also feature the countrys national colours.

I love the blue, it's so inviting.

Pristine white Pantai Tanjung Rhu on the northern coast of Langkawi. In the background are various rock formations in the Andaman Sea. I shot these photos at the same location from morning till sunset.

The colour jumps at you. Really makes me want to pack and run there.

Jumping with Joy

by Wesley - Marketing
We were all happy and excited see the beach and blue sky, and started jumping and taking photos at the same time. A fun way indeed to destress.

The expressions are priceless but it would be good if one of the photos show more of the sand to capture the theme spot on.

The Inseparable Land and Sea

Since ages, the mighty sea has been embracing the land with this tides and the rigid land complements by being the mighty seas foundation and guards it with its boundaries.

The blue in the centre photo is pretty despite it being pixellated.

The Hues of Sunrise and Sunset

by Venkatesh Sandhya - Editorial
For the sunrise brings with it hope and energy as it fills the world with light and sunset brings with it silence and serenity as it puts the world to sleep.

Giving the three photos more intensity and sharpness will make this composition picture perfect.

For the strength, grit, determination and innovativeness of human mind can even conquer the vast and mighty sea. Nothing is impossible.

It's not an easy subject to take moving boats. Venkatesh has managed to capture the moment timely.

Sallys Sunset
by Nor Ashikin - E-Pub
A girl name Sally has always wished to see the sunset. On her 18th birthday, her family brought her to East Coast Park. As she walked on the soft sands, leaving footprints behind, the summer winds blew the clouds away and the full splendor of the sunset was revealed. She was so happy to see the sunset that she jumped with joy, the sands trapped in between her toes.

Can't help wanting to jump as well. The mood is clear in this entry.

Power of the Sun

by Lesley Siau - Administration
No other living thing can really symbolise the power of the Sun other than the sunflower. Apart from beauty and grace, this fiery bloom is also an important source of food in the form of oil and nutritious snack. Now you can see the beauty of the Sun with these photos of mine.

The yellow is simply captivating. Great colour intensity.

By the shores of the beaches of Mauritius, the day is marked with the stark contrast of toil and an admiration of beauty in a burst of colours.

Love the colourful kayaks.

The F rolic

by Tsai Xin Rong, Cheryl - Editorial

It was a cool Sunday morning with an azure blue sky dotted with magnolia white clouds. The warm rays of sun reflecting against the waters created an image that looked as if thousands of sapphires laced the swishing waves. My cousin and I were frolicking by the sea. We tried to build our own sandcastles and we ended up giggling at each others failed attempts. Burying our feet in the cozy sand as we chit chat till the sun is high up in the sky. Hand-in-hand, we strolled along the shoreline, leaving with a new sisterly bond forged between us.

Cheryl's interpretation of the beach is simply fun.

An early morning wait watching the breaking of dawn with reflection of the sea. The rising sun shining ever brightly amidst the cloudy sky above the calming water and below it, the fluttering tide waving in and out against the rocky sandy beach capturing the smiling shine.
