Rain has been traveling through our area this afternoon starting with free showers followed by a downpour. I had to move inside for a while because of the thunder and lightning that was reported throughout the area although there is no chance of hail or tornadoes with this storm. Its always important to take precautions and go inside during a thunderstorm. The winds were blowing so hard during the storm, we actually thought some gutters get ripped off some neighbors houses. The wind has now calmed to just a slow breeze, its still cloudy out here with a little drizzle. Overnight showers will continue off and on. For the rest of the week, dont expect much of a change, it will be very wet leaving a lot of puddles and stemmy water in the area. When the sun does come out, it is expected to be very muggy as the temperatures will be in the upper 80s all week. That plus all of this rain will produce a lot of humidity.
