The Secretary, Ministry of urban development authority 6th and 7th floor, Sethsiripaya, Battaramulla now invites sealed bid from the eligible and qualified bidders for the proposed new housing complex . The work is proposed new 25 floors mid range housing complex in Malay street, slave island, Colombo 02 The construction period is 4 years Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding procedure. Bidders should comply with the following eligible criteria to qualify for award Valid business registration ICTAD registration C2 or above At least 5 building projects completed over 50M during last five years Should have completed at least 100M worth of average annual turnover during any of the last 6 years A complete set of bidding document in English language may be purchased by the interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the secretary, ACD Consultant LTD, 365, Galle road, Colombo 03

Bidding is open to domestic contractors appropriately registered with Institute of Construction Training and Development (ICTAD) in the Grade applicable as given in below. Funder name: TATA india LTD. Project name :Propose new housing complex in slave island.

Only the Technical Qualification Application (Envelope 1) of the Bid will be opened, immediately after the deadline for submission of Bids, in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Financial Bid (Envelope 2) will remain unopened. 8. Upon completion of the evaluation of Bidders qualifications, Bidders who are technically capable and qualified to undertake the Works will be notified in writing of the time and date for the opening of Financial Bid (Envelope 2). The Financial Bid (Envelope 2) will be opened in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.

9. Financial Bids (Envelope 2) of those Bidders who are deemed not qualified to undertake the works would be returned to them unopened.
