Insert and Solder Capacitors - C1, C2 and C3 5. Insert and Solder Capacitor - C4 Watch Orientation 6. Insert and Solder Diode D1 - Watch Orientation 7. You must connect these properly on your DVM. You will need to get connectors that plug into your DVM. VERY CAREFULLY check all of your work before proceeding. [ ] 14. TEST and CALIBRATION 1. Connect to your DVM set to 200mV DC 2. Place a SHORT piece of wire across the input Connector - CON1 3. Set SW1 - Range Switch to LOW 4. Set SW2 - Power Switch to ON 5. Adjust R1 - for a reading of ZERO on your DVM 6. Set your DVM to the 2 Volt Range

7. Remove the Wire and connect an inductor of known value to CON1. A value closer to 400uH will give best results. 400uH will read .400 Volts on your DVM. 8. Set SW1 - Range Switch to HIGH and connect an inductor of Known Value to CON1. A value closer to 5 MH will give best results. 5MH will read .500 Volts.
