PGL Profile

VISION We envision Laguna to be a premier province in the Philippines- A peaceful, progressive, prosperous and ecologically-balanced place with educated, friendly, healthy, morally-upright and productive citizens who shall spearhead in nation building. MISSION The Provincial Government of Laguna aims to increase and intensify its capacity in response to Lagunenos' growing needs by providing all fundamental services by means of active participation in local governance, creative solutions, joint efforts with the private sector, programs to ensure total long-term growth. The Provincial Government of Laguna promotes and practices good governance for superior transparency, trust and confidence. OBJECTIVES As an extension office of the Governor, the Office of the Provincial Administrator is the frontline in delivering top level management, administrative, technical, and political support services particularly those related to the K-2 Kinse Kumpleto Serbisyo Publiko Kontra Kahirapan - 15 point program/projects of the provincial government so that balanced and sustainable rural-urban economic growth will uplift the standard of living of its constituents. K2 Program Strategies have been identified by the Provincial Government of Laguna for its vision to be achieved. A student info system (SIS) is a software application for education establishments to manage student data. It provide capabilities for entering student test and other student-related data needs in a school, college or university.

ATS - Attendance Tracking System In virtual space technology, a tracking system is generally a system capable of rendering virtual space to a human observer while tracking the observer's body coordinates.

HOMIS Hospital Operations Management Information System. Patient medical records, admitting, billing, cashier, PHIC, Medical records, wards, laboratory, pharmacy, outpatient, radiology, emergency. Also personnel info system, Logistics Management info system, and electronic New Government Accounting System (eNGAS).

Document Tracking System also known as DoTS was conceptualized to come up with a system that would respond immediately to queries regarding the status of the Civil Works documents and more importantly to prompt those in charge to perform their tasks in the least possible period of time.

MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS 2001 - 2010

2011 1. Upgraded the www.laguna.com.ph; started the daily updating of its front-page; 2. Deployed Open-Source Fingerscan-based Attendance Tracking System at Sanguniang Panlalawigan Building, FAITH Center, Sports & Games Development Office, and additional unit of fingerscanner at New Capitol Building and San Luis Building. 2010, 2nd Half 1. Launched HOMIS Project (Hospital Operation Management Information System) MODULE 1 at General Cailles District Hospital; Luisiana District Hospital; Majayjay Medicare Hospital; Nagcarlan District Hospital; Pagamutang Pangmasa ng Laguna. 2. Deployed an Open-Source Fingerscan-based Attendance Tracking System at New Capitol Building, and San Luis Building; 3. Assisted Laguna University in the roll-out of iSchool Project in 4 public schools of Laguna: Nanhaya NHS in Victoria,

Sta Catalina NHS in Majayjay, Paagahan NHS in Mabitac, Prudencia Fule NHS in San Pablo. 4. Provided trainers for Commission on Information and Communication Technologys 2009 Training of Trainers for the deployment of iLMIS (Library Management Information System) in 300+ high schools nationwide. 2010, 1st Half 1. Upgraded and deployed Anilag Library System at Library Hub of DepEd Laguna Division. On this year, the Library Hub of DepEd Laguna won a grand price in the regional and national level competition of Library Hubs; 2. Developed a website template for DepEd Laguna, and website template for 407 public schools of Laguna; 3. Developed a beta version of Office/Employee Performance Evaluation System , and alpha version of Property Monitoring System and Barangay Information System. 2009 1. Deployed Anilag Library System at Library Hub of DepEd Laguna; 2. Deployed HOMIS (Hospital Operation Management Information System) MODULE 1 at Laguna Provincial Hospital; 3. Developed an OpenSource Document Tracking System and OpenSource Document Library System; 4. Assisted Laguna University in the roll-out of iSchool Project in 5 public schools of Laguna Dayap Mabacan NHS, Calauan; Sampaguita NHS, San Pedro; San Juan NHS Annex, Kalayaan; Cabulusan NHS, Pakil; Sta Maria NHS Annex, Sta. Maria. 5. Provided trainers for Commission on Information and Communication Technologys 2009 Training of Trainers for the deployment of Anilag-iLMIS (Library Management Information System) in 300+ high schools nationwide. 2008 1. Deployed OpenSource Attendance Tracking System at: Chest Center, Field Agricultural Extension Service, General Service Office Stockroom, Housing and Urban Development Office, JP Rizal District Hospital, Laguna Provincial Library,

Provincial Budget Office, Provincial Social Welware Department, and Provincial Treasurers Office 2. Acquired and deployed HOMIS (Hospital Operation Management Information System) MODULE 1 at Jose P. Rizal Memorial Hospital, and San Pablo District Hospital 3. Assisted Laguna University in the deployment of iSchool computer laboratory at six public high schools: San Roque NHS, Victoria; Don Manuel NHS, Pila; Cavinti NHS Ext.; Cavinti; Balian NHS, Pangil; Siniloan NHS, Siniloan; Plaridel NHS, Nagcarlan. 4. Provided trainers for Commission on Information and Communication Technologys 2008 Training of Trainers for the deployment of Anilag Library System in 320 high schools nationwide. 2007 1. Developed and deployed Anilag Library System at Laguna University; 2. Developed and deployed OpenSource Attendance Tracking System at Management Information Systems Office; 3. Facilitated the inclusion of Laguna University in CICTs iSchool Project. 2006 1. Provided technical Support for the deployment of eNGAS (Electronic New Government Accounting System) at Provincial Accounting Office; 2. Acquired and deployed a Canofile Document Library System for Tax Declarations at Provincial Assessors Office 2002 1. Developed the www.laguna.gov.ph [on 2006, transferred the maintenance to Provincial Planning Office] 2001 1. Developed the Personnel Payroll Information System of the Provincial Government of Laguna.
