Martin Howley's Reel

This is a grand reel played on a concertina. I heard my brother
playing this tune often in Doolin sitting
by the fireplace in O'connor's Publi House.

Miss McCloud's Reel

A very popular and well-known reel. This was supposed to
be a picked reel for a dancer, especially in America, I'm told.

Ta Dha Ghabhairin Bhui Agam

Another name I know this tune by is "The Phelim Laddie."

It is probably of Scottish origin. The way it was danced in Clare was with two long sticks
crossed in the middle to form four spaces and the dancer would
dance from square to square with out upsetting the sticks.
