SO-YES Installation Software Installation Procedure

First, make sure necessary server BIOS and hard disk RAID configuration are completed, then start to install SW. Please choose boot from CDROM in HW BIOS. The following screenshot is the first prompt after entering CDROM boot up, as seen in PIC 1.

Press Enter to continue installation. Additional driver need to be installed by expert disk command if hard disk cannot be recognized. System will ask to choose other disk (can be floppy drive or removable disk containing diver image) to install driver.

If USB CDROM, please select Local CDROM as seen in PIC 3

Welcome screen as seen in PIC4, press OK

Please choose language as seen in PIC 5

If its fresh hard disk, the following prompt will be shown as seen in PIC 6, press Yes

Select time zone (dont use UTC), as seen in PIC 7

System partitions hard disk automatically, no artificial action needed as seen in PIC 8

System installs software module automatically as seen in PIC 9.

As seen in PIC 10, after SW installation system will ask you to restart, at the same time please insert valid USB-KEY to make sure SW startup properly.

You have finished SW installation successfully. Please take out installation CD from CDROM before reboot and then press enter to reboot system.

SW Configuration Notice
After previous SW and HW installation steps, YES has been successfully installed. You can start to configure based on actual need after server restarted.

Server IP configuration and activation

After YES server installation, default IP for ETH0 (NIC 0) is 192.168.1.8. You can enter configuration portal by browsing the following address in IE: http://192.168.1.8:8080/ Default username is admin default password is admin If need change server IP, please login to server by admin, password is 90-=op[]; By set if command to configure, format as below: set if NIC IP subnet mask gateway IP For exampleset if eth0 192.168.0.1 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.254 This command will set NIC 0 IP to 192.168.0.1 and GATEWAY IP to 192.168.0.254 Please reboot server to apply to changes. We need to understand network environment including IP planning parameters, Gateway address and DNS server address etc as StreamSense Server is a network application server.

After enter environment configuration page, please finish license register firstly. A successful register page as seen in PIC 11:
