Jones County, MS

On May 14th, 2009 Pete Eyre, Jason Talley & Ademo Freeman were unjustly arrested while passing through Jones County, Mississippi by James Atkins of the Jones County Sheriff's Department. Their vehicle - a 30' RV dubbed MARV - was searched without a warrant, Talley was maced, and Freeman's camera was taken and footage of the incident deleted. Eyre was charged with possession of a beer in a dry county (one unopened beer was found in the refrigerator), Talley was charged with resisting (he choose not to produce ID on command, which, since he wasn’t driving, wasn't required), and Freeman was charged with disorderly (for filming).
