SERMON DESCRIPTION
When I was a kid, my mother always made me hand write thank you notes for any gift I received. It was, my mother instructed me, simply the right thing to do. ...I confess, the practice did not become a habit. Which raises the question, can you command gratitude? The bible certainly does... And giving the mounting scientific data correlating health and happiness with gratitude, so soon might your physician! But something far more powerful is at work causing us to share our praise and thanksgiving with the fullness, freedom and gladness with which we can...even when our situation feels anything but praiseworthy…such that our praise itself becomes generative of praise.
Join me in exploring the creative power we hold to re-awaken to and, in fact, to fulfill the good news of Universal love, through our praise. Join me in opening your heart, anew, to sharing gratitude that grows.
