Managing Your Stress


Slow down: Find something to make you laugh Listen to music Take a time out Exercise: Stress produces chemicals in your body that makes you feel tense and makes your heart beat faster. Also your muscles get tight, breathing harder and your blood pressure goes up. Exercise move these chemicals out of the body. Takes time off problems REST And Eat well: Not enough sleep can make you clumsy, emotional, and makes it hard to concentrate Eat breakfast and do NOT skip meals Eat FIVE servings of fruit and vegetables, get enough of calcium and iron Drink EIGHT glasses of water a day Discuss your problems: ASK for help
