JAZZ CHANT ACTIVITY

STEPS: 1. Students should be divided into groups of three. 2. The teacher gives a brief explanation of verbs. 3. The teacher plays the recording of the jazz chant and ask the students to note all the verbs found in the jazz chant. 4. Each student would be given a jazz chant script. 5. The teacher plays the recording again and tell the students to underline the verbs. 6. Finally, the recording should be played one more time and the students should sing along.

Jazz Chant Script:


Where does John live? He lives near the bank. Where does_he work? He works_at the bank. When does_he work? He works all day and_he works all night, at the bank, at the bank, at the great, big bank.
