REPUTATION CHARACTER

REPUTATION is what

others think of you.

CHARACTER is what

God knows about you.

"For as a man thinks in his heart, so he is..." (NKJV) As in water face reflects face, so a mans heart reveals the man.

But the Lord said to Samuel, Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.

* What we do when

no one is around and when no one will found out?

Private life should be consistent with public life.

then, the residents and princess sought to find charges against Daniel...but they could find none nor any fault, for he was faithful, and theres was no error or fault found in him... (Daniel 6:4)

* How do we react to

the best and/or worst of circumstances?

Problems, trials, pressures, persecutions and trying situations are designed to squeeze out our true character.

Worst Circumstances:
Wealth, loved ones and health had taken away from him, yet, Jobs character remained the same. He still worship God in worst times.

Then he fell to the ground in worship and said: Naked I came from my mothers womb, and naked I will depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised!

Best Circumstances:
Despite being Egypts 2nd powerful and influential man, he remained faithful and humble.

Then Joseph said to his brothers, Come close to me...I am your brother, the one you sold into Egypt. And now do not be distressed and be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that GOD sent me ahead of you.

STEP 3:

The 3 Fs of taking charge of your thought life:
