Adjectives -ed versus ing


e.g. They are bored in a boring class. *We use adjectives with ed to describe feelings about people. *We used adjectives ing to describe situations, processes.

Directions: In pairs, ask these questions: 1. How often do you get bored at the office? 2. What do you do in boring meetings? 3. Are you baffled or confused about the Olympics? 4. Is it exciting to go away on the weekend? Why? Why not?
