Audience is a complex and varied group of people that

the speaker addresses.


From the Latin word, audire (to hear)

Did not have the same meaning as before

society that affect that persons identity in almost all


social situations.

General positive or negative feeling a person has about

something.
Reflects ones dislikes and likes, approval or disapproval

of events, people or ideas

Persons idea of what is real or true or not. Beliefs are more conceptual than attitudes and reflect

what we know about the world.

Reflects what we think is an ideal world or state of
