1) Moxonidine and Amlodipine significantly reduces the blood pressure in Obese hypertensive patients. (Ref: Journal Int J Clin Pract. 2006 May;60(5):621-9.) 2) As per the references combination of Moxonidine plus Amplodipine is efficacious in control of mild to moderate essential hypertension. 3) Combination of Moxonidine plus Amplodipine reduces blood pressure in 46.9% patients as compared to 21% patients treated with Moxonidine + HCTZ
