COMPETITION AND BUYING PATTERNS

Explain the nature of competition in this market. The small business buyers understand the concept of service and support, and are much more likely to pay for it when the offering is clearly stated. The recent economic slowdown, combined with the tragic events of September 11, 2001, reduced consumer confidence, which led to declining sales in the salon industry as a whole In order to see the buying patterns we needed to identify local competitors and learn their rates, techniques and services to determine how we will compete.
