SYSTEM ANALYSIS

SCOPE OF SYSTEM ANALYSIS

SYSTEM SCIENCE SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT SYSTEM MODELLING

Characteristic of System Science

presenting the system concept to construct the structural components in form of the framework of system as result of certain ideas appropriate knowledge the system framework to applicate

System Science

System analysis is a set of procedures which basically used to design and manage complexity of real-world systems. These activities was combined to reach the big objective.

The evolution of system science

Cybernetics (Norbert Wiener, 1948): In its narrow view, Cybernetics is equivalent to serve a theory in engineering; in its broadly view, it may encompass much of natural science. Cybernetics has to do with self-regulation, such as mechanical, electromechanical, electrical, or biological, social

The evolution of system science

General system theory (Ludwig von Bertanlanffy, 1940): GST is concerned with developing a systematic framework for describing general relationships in the natural and the man-made world

The evolution of system science

Systemology: the science of systems or their formation. A system science is pushed forward by the formations of interdisciplines

WHAT IS A SYSTEM?

A system is an assemblage or combination of elements or parts forming a complex or unitary whole; (river system) A set of regulations that restrict to both the capacity of the system itself or the environment to be in ( system in law) A system is an ordered and comprehensive assemblage of facts, principles or doctrines in a particular field of knowledge or thought (system of philosophy)

WHAT IS A SYSTEM?

A system is a coordinated methods or a complex scheme or plan of procedure (system of organization and management)

A system is any regular of special method or plan of procedure (a system marking, numbering or measuring)

WHAT IS A SYSTEM?
System is an assembly of elements or components or part related in an whole to reach an objective within a complex environment

Systems have characteristic or property ascribed to an element or process is termed an attribute of that element (color, texture, size, strength, shape, and permeability) or process (intensity, speed, rate)

Part of system definition are:

Elements or components or parts Relationships or interaction among elements/components/ parts There are something that connected to be unity There are objectives It is lied in a complex environment

Elements or Components are operating parts of a system consisting of input, process, and output.

Each system component may assume a variety of values (attributes) to describe a system state as set by control action and one or more restrictions.

Attributes are the properties or discernible manifestations of the component/elements of a system Atributes should relevant to the system goals Attributes characterize paramenters of a system the

Parameters is a unity of quantity determines system value and condition

Relationships are the links between components and attributes; lead to sinergism

Interaction is used to delivered a binding between system elements or components to express one or some certain behaviors Goals or objectives is the performance result of system behavior Environment is used to diferentiate one system and another

System conception

Concept is a phenomenon abstraction that was formulated by generalization of a number of cases characteristics

Concept is built from established definition

Definition is a set of terminology such as sentences, symbols or mathematical formula that shows the phenomenon as in the intended concept

System conception

Systemic Conception is a presentation of the system components that forming from and into a solid definition Systemic Conception is the initial of system analysis that will be designed and evaluated Systemic conception will be used to answer several question about system, such as : a. What are element of system? b. What is/are the goals? c. What will be done to reach the goals? d. What kind of process that is held? e. What kind of output that is resulted by process?? f. What is the criteria to determine the process succesfullness??
