Functional components of the project

There are registered people in the system. Some are approvers. An approver can also be a requestor. In an organization, the hierarchy could be Engineers/Managers/BusinessManagers/Managing Director etc. In a college, it could be Lecturer/Professor/Head of the Department/Dean/Principal etc.

Routing and Authorization

Leave applications can be redirected to other authorizers for one-time approvals If similar selections exist for the applicant and or more than one authorizer, the last one selected is final. This can allow HR to override certain information like GL selections etc. if the leave configured to end with HR. Buttons on Authorizer screen determine action to be taken ( approve, deny, redirect, etc). May be several approve buttons, but only one should have final approval action
